There are some reports that Russia's air defense's shot it down? If it was moving that slow how was that a meteor? There are some confusing reports. There is a video with Russia shooting artillery at something, you can definitely here them attacking something.

The number of injuries seems to have increased alot. The last link I posted said roughly 100, but now it's over 250 people

Same here, and I was about to nod off...shouldn't have checked ATS before bed. You're around my neck of the woods. Does your sky look the same as mine? I can't see anything, beyond the cloud cover; yet, there is a creepy orange glow to it. Quite bright and eerily quiet (although it could be the time, or the weather, or just creepy WI...lol)

The friggin' sky is falling over Russia and I have a meeting at 8:30 in the morning.

*sigh*

I think a satellite is completely out of the question as there was days worth of notice (2012 summer?) When the school bus sized one fell out of orbit and crashed into the ocean. Which begs the question if it did come from space why wasn't there advanced notice?

Due to the fact that it wasn't expected my money is on either military hardware, and or a Russian space shuttle/satalite gone awry. The more I look at the videos the more I find they look errily similar to the Space Shuttle Columbia re-entry.

But then again could be just a hunk of rock

The BBC is now reporting 400 injured from Space born debris. That's a first in history...
