Would you call a piece of black electrical tape on a light bulb a "hole in the bulb"? That's similar to what you're doing here.

It seems to me that the portal would open and close like a door.
It must be emissions from the singularity. It looks like those emissions do not show
up on AIA 4500. They do however show up on 211,193,094 etc.

The answer to your question is within the singularity.

Kerr Black Holes / Singularities

This actually makes sense - This is how it's done

Scroll down to Kerr Black Holes as wormholes.
Once you pass through the event horizon just plot a course to another G2V star.
You probably should have done that with the Nav Computer before entering.

90% of the time on ATS I ask questions which hopefully lead to more understanding by me and others. This thread and the responses I've gotten from you would not fall into the "gaining more understanding" category though.

Go for it. View them all. I don't think you will find much in the Highly Speculative, though, so you might not be interested.

The last one was closed down and redirected to another thread asking what the 2012ers will say after nothing happened.

Heat shields for a f***ing star??? Are you f***ing serious??? Dude, you watch WAY to much sci-fi. I suggest you educate yourself on the temperatures of the surface and in the cores of stars. Have any idea what a high speed particle, such as the ones that come off our star, do to cells of living organisms? I know, I know, "but their robotic, not alive" High speed particles don't give a flyin' f**k if your alive or synthetic. They penetrate EVERYTHING. This concept of star stargates is NEVER going to be plausible, ever
