The Atlanta Hawks? That's NBA, bruh.

I believe you mean the Chicago Blackhawks.

We don't call the Washington Redskins "the Reds"...

Sorry, as a Chicagoan, it's a pet peeve of mine. Go Rangers!

I'm ready to watch Crosby, Malkin and Fleury DOMINATE the league this season. Too bad there are not going to be any intraconfrence games until the cup final.

Someone told me that the NHL is offering the Center Ice package for free to the fans this season as an appreciation to us.

I am trying to boycott as long as i can.
The fans come first...they seem to have forgotten that.

In my city there is a poll on an online local news site....70% of people said they won't forgive that easily and neither will I.

You couldn't GIVE me a ticket for a game.

I haven't watched hockey since the end of the 2003/2004 season.

Millionaire players fighting billionaire owners for more money.

The NHL has not got so much as a nickel out of me for years and they never will again.

Flyers, all the way this go 'round.

I hope they put knuckles into it, too.

I saw that on Twitter earlier... #Flyers' 8 D-men in camp average 6-2 1/2 and 219 pounds per player.

That's really awesome if you ask me but i hope they can skate ;-)

I hear this call for boycott a lot. Only in professional sports is this notion that the customer must somehow punish the industry if there is a work stoppage. Do people boycott cars when there is a work stoppage in the auto industry? Do you pull your kids out of school when teachers go on strike? When there was the writers' strike in Hollywood a few years ago, did you boycott TV and movies? Not that I've heard. If some factory owner wanted to cut his $12/hr workers' wages by 25%, would you support the owner?

It's obvious that there is this notion that pro athletes should be happy with what they have no matter how ownership treats them, just because of amount of money they make.
