Maybe, just maybe it's a people problem instead of a gun problem.
So we have a 20% higher average of "gun crime" here in this country compared to other countries.

Which countries I wonder did they study in this investigation?

Maybe people are the issue here and not some object.

What are the gun crimes in Wyoming versus New York per capita?
I wonder what they are when you compare California to say Montana
Arizona vs. Illinois?
Florida vs. Idaho?

I think you will find that most gun problems by far happen in the larger cities and surrounding area's.
Usually in the area's that have a liberal based population and where firearm laws are the strictest.

I wonder why that is? Anyone care to guess? I don't have a PhD nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn express last night so I will not guess.....only pose questions.

I know the statistics anti gun people use are skewed a ton so to make it fair I think you should break it down if you want to be truthful.

Out of every 100,000 gun deaths how many were:

law enforcement officers shooting a criminal during a crime? (shouldn't count)
How many are deaths contributed to someone through self defense? (shouldn't count)
How many "children" shot were teenage gang bangers shot by each other, or cops? (shouldn't count)
How many ACCIDENTAL firearm deaths happen each year?

Anything other than ACCIDENTAL deaths are a crime issue, bay person issue or mental health issue.

Why are people in the USA seemingly more crazy, violent or disrespectful than elsewhere?
Again it comes back to the bigger city areas. What do they have that the rural areas have less of?

Minorities
Welfare dependents
People who are are out of touch with the world except their little bubble they live within.
(I think most people in L.A. or NYC know little and care less of anything outside their part of the city.

Is it because the educational system is turning out....(I don't want to say idiots)... let's just say not geniuses.
(doubt me? see how well young people can make change if the register goes on the fritz)
They're "book smart" and are taught how to look up the answers but are not taught actual information.

Is it because of the entitlement programs making people feel they deserve everything even though they won't work for it?

Is it a medical issue and people can't get the help they need?

So many questions and an extremely hard problem to fix. It's just a shame people want to take the easy road out and blame firearms.....

Could that be the problem? We've been taking the easy way out for 50 years or more and it's caught up with us?

So, Americans shoot to kill and also happen to shoot up (medicated) the most:

Might there be a correlation, and if so, could the cause be the exogenous/induced psychiatric conditions of the masses including widespread addictions and/or impairments of judgment) and the effect the resulting rampant violence and massacre after massacre of senseless killings... leading up to perhaps something like this:

No, it's because you have one of the most tyrannical economic systems in the world. You have one of the widest rich-poor divides in the world. You have the most extreme of wealth and poverty.

Poor people are a lot happier and content with their lot when not surrounded by extreme wealth.

Rich-Poor Gap Widens to Most Since 1967 as Income Falls

Top 1% Got 93% of Income Growth as Rich-Poor Gap Widened

Income Inequality May Take Toll on Growth

Economic disparity is the largest cause of our social problems.

That is a serious problem. You are doing exactly what they want you to, and you need to address that. If you cant trust your fellow citizen, but your own government, I dont think you belong here. In this country I mean, not just the forum. They love you, you work for them for free.

Well lets take a look:
I don't think the victims of Gacy, Bundy or even Jeffrey Dahmer were shot, I believed they were all killed by other means. And what about the OKC bomber, as the reports went, it was done via fertalizer and a chemical means.
We are not demanding that cars are banned due to the number of drunk drivers, or auto accidents. And what about all of the food that kills people, are we so up in arms about saving lives, then maybe lets ban a few other things, and not just guns.

After guns, what is gonig to be banned next, all in the name of saving lives.

Reality is that you can not legislate human behavior, and the countries that do legislate human behavior, I don't think many people want to visit.

in your opinion what is the real problem? imo idiots and criminals that shouldnt be walking around with guns in the first place are the problem.
so, why restrict everyone ELSE ??
what is THAT about ?
or are you of the simpleton opinion that if you're not a criminal, you must be an idiot ?

i understand it's very difficult for someone who stands against guns to even begin to understand those who stand with them.

however, in an attempt to widen your perspective, i've corrected this previous statement of yours. please re-read it until it sinks in.
The solution isn't to surrender

Oh good another retread of "Your government is your fault. No ,they didn't ask my permission and seldom inform us EXACTLY what they are doing.Do YOU know why?
Because we would stop them with our assault rifles and high capacity magazines,if we knew the truth,we may have to do it soon...with nasty black rifles and double edged knives,BECAUSE SOME IDIOTS VOTED THESE MORONS IN OFFICE.
Bush Jr was MY mistake.Since then they've been in full tilt GLOBAL mode.Canada sure as hell won't stop that either.
America is waking up to the facts of what exactly the Military Industrial Complex has done in our name.

Dumb thread.
Africans love putting tires filled with kerosene around each others necks and lighting them on fire.

People in every country kill each other. I actually question every "fact" in this thread, but more than that, I ask why does there need to be ANOTHER thread like this.

facetious much ??
People who shoot up schools are "law abiding citizens" until they carry out the act.
yea, you're right ... STEALING the guns didn't make him a 'criminal' at all

the only criminal act was shooting up the school, right ?

Murderers are "law abiding citizens" until they carry out the act.
really ???
even this one ??? convicted murderer shoots/kills firemen
oh, silly me ... that shooter was already a convicted murderer but you're right again, he wasn't a current criminal until he shot the responders.

dude, is it possible to discuss reality with you or is everything based on this illusion that you often present ?
