You seem to be under this illusion that total gun bans means nobody has guns. What about military and law enforcement? You taking guns away from them too? Have you even thought this through?

Give us your 'utopia'. Show us how this ban would work and how it would play out. And for whom do you take the guns away from?

I wonder what they are when you compare California to say Montana
Arizona vs. Illinois?
Florida vs. Idaho?

I think you will find that most gun problems by far happen in the larger cities and surrounding area's.
Usually in the area's that have a liberal based population and where firearm laws are the strictest.

I wonder why that is? Anyone care to guess? I don't have a PhD nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn express last night so I will not guess.....only pose questions.

I know the statistics anti gun people use are skewed a ton so to make it fair I think you should break it down if you want to be truthful.

Out of every 100,000 gun deaths how many were:

law enforcement officers shooting a criminal during a crime? (shouldn't count)
How many are deaths contributed to someone through self defense? (shouldn't count)
How many "children" shot were teenage gang bangers shot by each other, or cops? (shouldn't count)
How many ACCIDENTAL firearm deaths happen each year?

Anything other than ACCIDENTAL deaths are a crime issue, bay person issue or mental health issue.

Why are people in the USA seemingly more crazy, violent or disrespectful than elsewhere?
Again it comes back to the bigger city areas. What do they have that the rural areas have less of?

Minorities
Welfare dependents
People who are are out of touch with the world except their little bubble they live within.
(I think most people in L.A. or NYC know little and care less of anything outside their part of the city.

Is it because the educational system is turning out....(I don't want to say idiots)... let's just say not geniuses.

They're "book smart" and are taught how to look up the answers but are not taught actual information.

Is it because of the entitlement programs making people feel they deserve everything even though they won't work for it?

Is it a medical issue and people can't get the help they need?

So many questions and an extremely hard problem to fix. It's just a shame people want to take the easy road out and blame firearms.....

Could that be the problem? We've been taking the easy way out for 50 years or more and it's caught up with us?

in 2010 83% of gun related homicides were by gangs.

...if a country wants to shoot itself to pieces and argue why, how, what around being shot to pieces...then I'm going to just chalk that up to natural selection...

What a ridiculous statement. Criminals are not a separate race of people to everyone else. All people are "law abiding citizens" until they commit a criminal act.

People are not criminals until they commit the crime. People who shoot up schools are "law abiding citizens" until they carry out the act. Murderers are "law abiding citizens" until they carry out the act.

All citizens are potential criminals. So we allow all potential criminals to have guns.

I'm not sure I understand the logic of turning admitting Americans for some reason, are the most trigger-happy in the world, into an argument against gun control.

It is what it is. It's weird that the whole argument against this fact, is that it wouldn't make a difference if their guns were taken away, any. I agree! Look at their government, it goes around the world murdering the most civilians than any other country, too. You restrict US from using any more nukes and atom bombs, and US sure enough found a way to deliver even way in excess of nuke/atom equivalent in terms of destructive radiation. Likewise, its too late seize Americans' glory, pride and joy. It won't work. They won't let it happen, they'd make sure to go out in a bang before that happens.

Cause there's an inherent 'most violent' streak socially engrained in both the American people and American government. Where there's a will, there'll always be a way! And they are increasingly showing what they do with their lethal firearms, and arsenals of thousands of tons of depleted/enriched uranium to everyone and anyone, near and far.
