The object in question is clearly the MOON!

Here is why ... since it is in orbit ... even if its outward bound and in a highly eliptical orbit ... it must be always incoming ... because its always trying to reach the barycenter of gravity.

I.E. It is always falling TOWARDS earth!!!

Also this object was clearly seen by the Apollo 8 astronauts ...
