I only wish i could agree with you my friend...
Though i suppose that opens the debate, "what is a true Christian" which isn't actually a debate...
its an arguement...

So why would he punish us for using the free-will he gave us? What about the Muslim children who were never exposed to the bible or Jesus? Are they sent to hell because their parents taught them to believe in a lie? The same goes for Judaism and Christianity. If you deny Mohammed and his teachings because you were raised to believe something different, do you go to hell in that situation as well?

I can't see why god would give us the ability to reason and question only to turn around and tell us not to use those abilities. If faith overrides logic (I have seen this said before) then what is the reason behind giving us logic?edit on 22-12-2012 by 3NL1GHT3N3D1 because: (no reason given)

I'm not atheist, nowhere near it actually. I believe in the god that Jesus preached about, the I Am, not the god Paul turned it into. I have become spiritually aware while you remain in the shadow cast by Paul and his church.edit on 22-12-2012 by 3NL1GHT3N3D1 because: (no reason given)

Baptism is only symbolic of natural birth, not a substitution. I agree with the premise of baptism, it represents a fresh start to life, a new beginning, a point in life where you want to right your wrongs. It parallels child birth in many respects including immersion into the water (amniotic fluid), being raised out of the water (birth), and receiving of the holy spirit (conception), but it is not required in my opinion.
The holy spirit is not something you receive only after accepting Jesus and getting baptized, you receive it at birth. Without the holy spirit (consciousness/image of god) you would never have been born to begin with, you would have been a miscarriage or a vegetable. Everyone has the holy spirit, not just believers in Christ.

Yes u are right, there are satanists in the Vatican. They are members of the Illuminati. This is how they infiltrate the church. Some eventually become cardinals and perform satanic black mass. Father Malachi Martain wrote about it in his book, he too was a exorcist and a adviser to 3 popes.
In fact I believe it was the THIRD SECRET OF FATIMA that states that the church will be infiltrated by Satan aka the New World Order.
"Then the Lord took me to a place where there was a very well-known man. Before now, I used to live as an ignorant young christian. I used to think that any person that died would go to Heaven; that those who celebrated mass would also go to heaven, but I was wrong. When Pope John Paul II died, my friends and relatives would tell me that he had gone to heaven. All the news on TV and other media would say: “Pope John Paul II has died, may his soul rest in peace. He is now rejoicing with the Lord and his angels in heaven” and I believed all of it.
But I was only fooling myself, because I saw him in Hell, being tormented by flames. I looked at his face and recognized him. The Lord said to me, “Look, daughter, that man that you see there, is Pope John Paul II. He is here in this place being tormented because he did not repent.”
But I asked, “Lord, why is he here? He used to preach at church.” Jesus replied: “Daughter, no fornicator, no idolater, no one who is greedy and no liar will inherit My Kingdom.” (Ephesians 5:5). I replied, “Yes, I know that is true, but I would like to know why he is here, because he used to preach to multitudes of people!”
And Jesus responded, “Yes, daughter, he may have said many things, but he would never speak the truth as it is. He never said the truth. Although he knew the truth, he preferred money over preaching about salvation. He never told the truth; he would not say that hell is real and that heaven also exists. Daughter, now he is here in this place.”
When I looked at this man, he had a large serpent with needles, wrapped around his neck, and he would try in vain to take it off. He pleaded with Jesus, Lord, help me!” The man would scream, “Help me, Lord; have mercy on me; take me out of this place; forgive me! I repent, Lord; I want to return to earth, I want to go back to earth to repent.” The Lord observed him and said to him, “You knew very well that this place was real… It’s too late; there is no other opportunity for you.”
The Lord said, “Look, daughter, I am going to show you the life of this man.” Jesus showed me a huge screen on which I could observe how this man offered mass many times to the multitudes. And how the people who were there were so idolatrous. Jesus said, “Look, daughter, there are many idolaters in this place. Idolatry will not save, daughter. I am the only One who saves, and outside of Me, no one saves. I love the sinner, but I hate sin, daughter. Go and tell humanity that I love them and that they need to come to Me.”
As the Lord was speaking, I began to see how this man received multitudes of coins and bills; money, all of which he would keep. He had so much money. I saw images of this man seated on a throne, but I was also able to see beyond that. While it’s true that these people do not get married, I can assure you, I’m not making this up; the Lord showed it to me, those people do sleep with nuns; with many women.
The Lord showed me these people living in fornication, and the Word says that no fornicator will inherit His Kingdom. As I was watching all of this, the Lord told me, “Look daughter, all of this which I am showing you is what goes on, what he lived and what keeps on happening among many people, among many priests and popes existing.”
Then he told me, “Daughter, go and tell humanity that it’s time to turn to Me.”

Jesus' gospel was not about believing in him to gain eternal life, the "good news" was that we all have eternal life by default.
The two angels escorted me to Hell. They said, “Now you will visit Hell.”…There are multitudes of churches on the Earth and many of the churches are filled with many people. However, most of them are not true Christians. They are but church attendants. The true churches will firmly believe in Heaven and a Hell. The lives of many Christians are in chaos because they do not firmly believe in Heaven and Hell. When one soul enters Heaven, one thousand cursed souls enter Hell. The rate of Heaven and Hell is 1 to 1000.” (Matt 7:14)
Heaven & Hell 1000 to 1
On August 3, 1979, Howard Pittman, a Baptist minister for 35 years, died while on the operating table during surgery and had a near-death experience.
Instead of allowing me to enter, the angel stationed me before the Gates, slightly to one side. He instructed me to stay there and watch as the saints were permitted to enter into Heaven. This point was so important that the Holy Spirit told me Himself. I watched the fifty saints enter Heaven, but the point I missed was the time frame involved.
It was explained to me that at the same time those fifty saints died on Earth, 1,950 other humans also died; or only 50 out of 2000 made it into Heaven. That other 1,950 were not there. Where were they? That was only 2 ½ percent going to Heaven! Ninety seven point five percent did not make it! Is that representative of the entire world today? If so, 97 ½ percent of the population of this world today is not ready to meet God.

As I said before, baptism is allegory for natural child birth, you receive the spirit the moment you are conceived. Baptism is not needed to get the holy spirit, without the holy spirit you would never get to experience baptism because you'd be brain-dead.
It's very simple to understand, faith is not needed to gain entrance into heaven because we are already here. It just so happens that Earth is hell within heaven and the reason we are here is because most have been taught that faith is more important than works which is a lie employed by those in power to control people.
Jesus' gospel was not about believing in him to gain eternal life, the "good news" was that we all have eternal life by default and in order to make this eternal life the best for everyone is to love and forgive others as you do yourself. Faith and salvation are the work of Peter/Paul, he is the antichrist who gave the world this "strong delusion" that he speaks of. To believe 100% without question that Jesus somehow was raised from the dead is delusional and goes against logic.
Read Revelation, it speaks of the beast as healing a mortal wound and living. Didn't Jesus heal a mortal wound when he rose from the dead? Revelation is a book about things that have already passed and it points toward the church's version of Jesus as the beast. Revelation 12 is the strongest indication that Jesus the messiah is the antichrist made by the beast (the church).edit on 22-12-2012 by 3NL1GHT3N3D1 because: (no reason given)

Purity. You can have it. I'll stick with depraved..

Muslims and Jews don't believe Jesus was god in the flesh, yet their god is supposedly the one who sent Jesus in order to become the messiah.
If your god truly does exist then why does he let all of this confusion about him take place?
Was Jesus the messiah or not? Was Mohammed an impostor or not?

There are hundreds of different denominations in Christianity because some ministers do not have the proper reverence for the word of God.
