A friend of mine just posted the following on a Facebook group...

"totally bizaro....

look at this film name

www.imdb.com...

*look at the date of the review of this film and what it says in the first paragraph

webcache.googleusercontent.com...< br />
look at this product description - says after a hurricane
www.amazon.com...

hurricane in november was called sandy

look at the date of this post on imdb

www.imdb.com...

look at what happened on that date on wikipedia

en.wikipedia.org...

*for clarification, the date that bizarre review was posted was the same date of the batman film massacre which mentions sandy hook in it on the map!!

:O :O :O

and if you think that is wierd, the same imdb member posted

THE DAY BEFORE THE SHOOTING"

on the following thread

www.imdb.com...

which was entitled

Re: You know you go to a bad school when...

and in dead poets society, a kid shoots himself

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The information about the poster on IMDB isn't on that thread. I looked. This contains new information and a new coincidence.

I hate to say it but there is a fair bit of reaching going on here. It's called "You know you go to a bad school when" because people are discussing scenes from the film, presumably filmed in a bad school.

You didn't read all I put as new information.

So that people know what this thread is about, a poster on that Sandy Hook movie IMDB movie thread happened to post

www.imdb.com...

ON THE SAME DAY AS ANOTHER SCHOOL MASSACRE 3 YEARS AGO

AND also posted

1 DAY BEFORE THE SANDY HOOK SHOOTING ON THE DEAD POET'S SOCIETY THREAD ENTITLED "You know you go to a bad school when..." (A FILM WHERE A BOY SHOT HIMSELF DEAD AT THE SCHOOL IN THE FILM).

Sorry, man---one man's post that happens to occur on the same day as Sandy Hook still doesn't tip the scale for me.

Also, something you guys have to take into account: this film was made in Hoboken, NJ, which is in the vicinity of New York city and the Sandy Hook Island Beach, where this film takes place. It was simply a convenient filming location for the director to film his movie. That's my take, anyway.

Again, please read the NEW information.

This was NOT posted the same day as the Sandy Hook shooting. It was one post the DAY BEFORE and the another post on the same date 3 YEARS EARLIER when coincidentally another school massacre happened.

March 11 had another school shooting in 1908 (Boston MAS).
So did March 11th 1949 New York)
So did March 31 1954 (in NEWTOWN MAS)
March 12th 1951 - a school in North Carolina

Quite a few historical school shootings in March.

March 11th was also the date of the Kandahar Massacre where again, witnesses say more than one person was involved.

March 13th was the Dunblane Massacre of schoolchildren in Scotland
