I have been prepping for some time now for 12/21/12. It is always good when prepping to ask others what they stock. I will start by listing what I have assembled so far, input would be appreciated.

sixteen various beef steaks in the freezer.

Six Whole chickens in the freezer

Ten pounds of leg quarters in the freezer

fifty lbs of potatoes in the coldroom.

four bottles of soy sauce

ten lbs of spare ribs in the freezer

One frozen turkey (Perfect size for a turkey frier)

various frozen veggies

four bottles of booze for medicine

two twenty four packs of beer

four bottles of wine for medicine

three cans of coffee

a couple of cases of various soda pop

five 64 oz bottles of various juices

..............................................................................

What else do you guys think I will need for the Party?

LOL you forgot the most important things.

Aspirin and Gatorade!

The hangover will suck without them.

Wow, you're screwed if the power goes out.

I'm not a prepper, but I've been buying extra canned goods when grocery shopping the last few weeks.

Obviously you need me to help eat and drink all that which you've listed

You need some music for the party, may I recommend R.E.M: 'It's the end of the world as we know it'

You would need to eat all that frozen meat quick style when the power goes out, unless you have a generator and loads of fuel. I would be stocking up on peanut butter, butter, dried nuts and fruit, high fat content dried biscuits like shortbread, stuff like that.

I'm a new member, I can't post my own thread yet. I'd like to add, if things get bad. You can always hunt for food if you run out of canned foods. I'm not a hunter of big game. And since I do not own or carry big firearms. I do have some pest control items. So squirrels, rabbits, stuff like that I can take down with ease. And they are good eating, if need be. Or we can always fish for food to. And gather various berry's & nuts.

Could make poplar leave tea in the morning....Scratch that idea, it's winter, might have to buy some aspirins. Could get the stuff for Yager bombers for the B vitamins and some minerals. Bloody marys for the morning after. What kind of booze goes with Gaiteraide?

This thread is about the party, I have a lot more stuff than that, I also have three generators and it's winter here....which kinda sucks because the snowmachine won't start. Maybe I can fix that to give the kids a ride

I suppose we can go down to the swamp across the street and shoot some rabbits too. I am going to invite the deer to the party in case we run out of meat. Hmmmm
drunk people with guns is not a good idea.

My football teams chairman finally relinquishes control on that date. After 8 years of bleeding us dry and taking the piss out of us. So my prep is to get in a crate of 24 stella artois and to get monumentally hammered in celebration that he has gone and the mighty whites are back (whites is a club nickname before anyone starts .
)

If the world ends, bloody brilliant, will save me from the hangover im expecting the next day

According to my oldest, Vodka!

BTW, does anyone know the time the world is suppose to end? This is important because I have to be at a work party til 5, and my oldest is planning a party at my house in the evening.
I will be super upset if I miss a party at my own house!!!!!

And even paint ball guns with drunk people are a bad idea. Just found the video proof last weekend on home videos!!!

This is the first end of the world I ever had. I'm in uncharted territory. I suppose I got to find out the exact time it is going to end here, what's the use of planning this and have everything go bust before it starts
Shouldn't there be a countdown that day, like a big ball going down and fireworks. I got some skyrockets and little flying disks left over from the fourth of July ten years ago.......they might fizzle like the 12/21/12 thing does though, can't have everything fizzle just because the prediction does.

I'm pretty sure we are going to have enough fruits walking around at the party.

Yes.

I've scheduled a vacation day from work.

Plan on taking a nap the night of 12/20/12, getting up around 11pm,
logging on to ATS, ready to man the boards until the wee hours of the morning.

I'll probably get some more sleep around 4-5am and back up and at it
around 8-9am or so.

Now, I just need to remember to hit the store for plenty of MtDew, cookies
and Little Debbie snack cakes.

Oh yeah, I think I'll throw together a nice "play list" of music for the day as well....

hmmmm more on that later.
