Anonymous, is nothing more than skiddies who used known vulnerabilities and pre-made tools to 'take down' sites. They wouldn't last a day at defcon.

HAS anyone forgotten about the flotilla incident....when a turkish vessel was attempting to send aid to gaza and israel stopped them by landing on the ship like a scene out of call of duty (video game) and shot how many turkey nationals? just because they wanted to help gaza victims with humanatarian aid??!!

and you say...that there are hamas propaganda artists here trying to misinform ATS about how israel is the bad guy...haha....

i think there are some die hard israel supporters here who are the ones desperatly trying to misguide others with completely biased BS.....when the facts are completely against them...

palestine cant even get its own state recognized by the UN...

who gave them a home to live in 1948? does anyone on this forum have a memory that goes back furtherr than 1 week.

Here is some replies/ questions for thought.

Here's the thing, though: Anonymous has taken up the mantle of a vigilante organization. When that happens, the inevitable questions are -

Does this group think it's above the law?

Who really make the laws and who actually follows them? Do the elite follow them and make them, or just the blind cattle that work for their system?

Does this group have morals we feel comfortable with?

What group has morals these days and what are they actually based off of? Morals only work one way right?

Where does this group draw the line?

And where does the side they are attack draw their line?

Can we count on it to do what's right, even when it wants to do otherwise?

Can we count on either side to do what is right?

How do we know this group is legitimate, and not a cover?

What is legitimate based on? The guys that make the rules to the game are they legitimate?

How do we know this group won't eventually work for itself, rather than the people?

I thought we are all people. The problem lies in picking sides and being divide, people still buy into the BS

Vigilante groups scare me. They can be useful, but they're also unstable. Do you want a rabid dog to guard your family?

Ignorance, lack of depth, compassion, connection and awareness cause most of the fear in the world.

You're dodging my questions by fingering the lack of context. Well, how's this for some context?:

We fought so hard against SOPA and ACTA, and now Anonymous has turned and is pretty much enacting those same ideas on other countries? Anonymous is a gang of hypocrites. God forbid someone oppress our freedoms, but we'll do it to someone else in a second.

Anonymous is a band of bald-faced cowards who serve themselves for themselves and only pretend to defend us so we won't interfere with their work. They want to protect our freedoms, right? How much do you want to bet that if we step up and confront them, they will oppress us themselves?

Is that enough context to answer your rhetoric?

How exactly is defacing websites and databases promoting SOPA and ACTA? Anonymous had been one of the biggest dissenting voices on those subjects. I don't understand what you're getting at.

All those questions you ask regarding Anonymous, I would like to ask about Israel.

Many of the answers would show Israel to be a terrorist sort of government with very questionable morals.

Do you know how many terrorist attacks have started on a website? How many rebellions and uprisings germinated on the web? How many anarchist and revolutionary movements found their roots in the cyber community?

That's how the antics of Anonymous can start a wave of paranoia and defensiveness that closes down what little remains of our freedoms. The government doesn't want to take chances with the greatest source of power it possesses: us. In "Legend of Korra", one of the secret supporters of the Equalists took charge of the police force under the guise of a supporter of Benders, and began to oppress the regular people in an apparent attempt to defuse the Equalists.

As a result, the regular people, many of whom had not decided their loyalty in the matter, came to see the Benders as oppressors, even they they were trying to oppress the REAL oppressors.

You see? If oppression is used to fight oppression, you're throwing gasoline on the fire. That's what Anonymous is doing. And who's to say they won't oppress the oppressed even as they oppress the oppressors?

Don't want U.S. getting involve with conflicts in middle east any more. Those hackers are pulling us again and getting involves with middle east again..They are doing no good at all. The Hackers are doing the things as U.S. gotten involve in Iraq that should not have, non-thing but destruction. It keeps going around and around and around, more dead bodies keeps on piling up like a mountains, bloods streaming down like a river. All kind of happen and reason to kill or get kill.
Make this clear this time around, Hamas lid the fuse, they fire the rocket bomb at Israeli. I am no fan ether Arabs and Israeli. I understand this, every nations have the right to defense themselves. If Hamas fire any single rocket at my country, we will respond same what Israeli did.

Greetings Citizens of the world,
This is Anonymous. It has come to our attention that the Israeli government has ignored repeated warnings about the abuse of human rights, shutting down the internet in Israel and mistreating its own citizens and those of its neighboring countries. November 2012 will be a month to remember for the Israeli defense forces and internet security forces. Israeli Gov. this is/will turn into a cyberwar.

Bottom line is we should strive for peace, what you have unfortunately in this battle between Palestine and Israel
is a corrupt government with Isreal vs a terroristic force within higher arches of the Palestine movement, which when one takes that into account the only real thing that the United States SHOULD do is stay out of the conflict and don't let any outside entity lead us into world war 3.....

I support Israel, anyone who really doesn't is ignorant and a coward to let Gaza, shoot rockets into your country and not do a thing about it. as I stated before they shot 768 rockets prior to this war, in just 2012 alone..Would any of you really keep letting it happen, someone to launch rockets into your country and not do a thing about it?? I'm happy that this time Israel isn't killing as many civilians this time, more focused on taking out terrorist sites.

I'm just tired of everyone thinking Israel is the bad guy, they're the ones defending there families and country. I hope if anyone was to launch rockets into my country we would do the same!

"This time round, on 8 November, a week before Ahmad Jabari was assassinated, Israeli soldiers shot dead 13-year-old Ahmad Abu Daqqa while he was playing football outside his house in Gaza. Palestinian militants retaliated with a bomb and then a missile fired at an armoured personnel carrier, wounding several Israeli soldiers. Israel responded by shelling first another football field and then a mourning tent, killing four civilian non-combatants and wounding dozens. Four Israelis were wounded by the inevitable Palestinian missile volleys that followed. Egypt’s General Intelligence Directorate, which typically brokers security agreements relating to the Gaza Strip, stepped up its efforts.

By 12 November, amid demands from Israel’s Home Front Defence minister, Avi Dichter, to ‘reformat’ the Gaza Strip and calls from the transport minister, Yisrael Katz, to cut off the supply of all goods and services to Gaza’s population of 1.5 million until they begged for air, the Egyptians had crafted a ceasefire proposal that was accepted by the Palestinians and – according to the Egyptians – Israel too. With responsibility not only for fighting Israel but also enforcing agreements with it, Jabari began implementing the ceasefire. Two days later he was blown up. Several hours and several dozen air raids later, Israel triumphantly announced that it had successfully decommissioned long-range missile capabilities within the Gaza Strip. After first hitting cities as far afield as Beersheba and Tel Aviv, the first Hamas rocket yesterday reached the western outskirts of Jerusalem. Today, Israel has attacked Hamas government compounds, killing at least eight more Palestinians, and troops are reportedly massing along the border with Gaza."

How hopelessly pathetic. Anonymous needs to get their heads out of their asses and do something productive for once. Like get info on Bengahzi or Obama's College papers. Oh wait, they won't do that; They're just unpaid puppets for the socialist agenda.

inb4 anonymous rapes my account.

Hamas are legit, and are trying to protect whats left of the palestinian people.....Israel SOUND like terrorist to me because they carry out ILLEGAL settlements in the eye of the UNITED NATIONS......you can twist things anyway you like but the truth can ALWAYS be found....so keep following the MSM brainwashing, because your views sound exactly like the BS they talk about.
