all MSM is part of the one beast, kind of like a hydra from Greek mythology (multiple heads 1 body scenario), the only way to kill it is to realize your not dealing with individual companies but one entity with these separate fronts under an umbrella.

Dude, don't know if you get it or not, but the lefts Super PAC is MSNBC, NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NPR, PBS, Hollywood, Sony Pictures, and most print media.

If we got rid of FOX and talk radio, then the partisan left would have NO (zero) opposition in the media.

I know we don't agree on many issues. But no ideology should hold a monopoly on the media and free expression.

Be it left or right.

Dude, don't know if you get it or not, but the lefts Super PAC is MSNBC, NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NPR, PBS, Hollywood, Sony Pictures, and most print media.

If we got rid of FOX and talk radio, then the partisan left would have NO (zero) opposition in the media.

I know we don't agree on many issues. But no ideology should hold a monopoly on the media and free expression.

Be it left or right.

i agree the most dangerous thing is only hearing one side of any story,
and as free markets allow for competition in the media space, democracy is strengthened,

this is WHY there is a fox in the first place, but you must realise,
we give CNN a REALLY HARD TIME TOO.
NOT for their viewpoint,
but because they have been "snapped" making up stories

if you guys tone it down a bit less people would take be "on your case"

I think you can see where the 24 hour cable channels lean by coverage during the election you see FOX heavily scewed in positive stories for Romney and negative for Obama, MSNBC heavily scewed in positive stories for Obama and negative for Romney while CNN was pretty much even with regards to both candidates. Among other network morning and night news shows it was also pretty even in coverage. Obama did slighly better with positive stories, not unexpected as a sitting President makes news while person running against them is only covered for what they say.

Suprisingly with the exception of FOX and MSNBC the networks skew pretty even. If they have agendas they hide them pretty well. Of course you will hear both the left and the right claim the media is for the other guy but, from the data you can find online they seem by be pretty even.

FOX=FAUX. CNN=CON. MSNBC...Has Chris Matthews. Enough said.

And another thing, it was slightly entertaining during the election when people would tell me what news station they were getting updates from. I would know exactly who they were voting for based on that. Herd mentality? It seems so.

I my self ,as someone who is not left or right, find your fear of Fox news to be
completely and utterly amusing.

People don't like being lied to. More so there's a level of lie that FOX perpetrates that is toxic to our nation.
It's really sad that people don't see it for what it is, simple searches can reveal the truth in seconds flat.
