There's another great thread on ATS - All Roads Lead to Babylon
This thread discusses the phalic symbols of Nimrod who became Baal the ancient pagan Sun God his wife/mother Semiramis and their son Tammuz. Although not an account specifically mentioned in the Bible - the characters of Nimrod, Cush & Semiramis and Shem are of course mentioned as close descendants of Noah -
Jospehus apparently also wrote about Shem killing Nimrod because he became a mighty warrior - the Bible calls him as well as being a mighty hunter in opposition to God - as the one who founded calling on God's name (in a defamatory way) and passed into other lands not originally apportioned to him and killed some of Shem's relatives in the process. Shem as a worshipper of the God of Noah - Jehovah - went after Nimrod and killed him. Josephus and other writers state - by cutting him up into 12 pieces.
Semiramis (Nimrod's mother and widow of his father Cush) who married her son and bore a child Tammuz - vowed to avenge her husband's death by a blood ritual to resurrect Nimrod - by putting his pieces together. Apparently the one part she failed to find was his penis or phalic symbol. Thereon unable to re-assemble Nimrod - Semiramis then claimed to all the followers of this God of war that he had risen to the heavens to become the Sun God Baal. Who became a famed Pagan God associated with sexual rites, blood and human sacrifice particularly child sacrifice.
What I didn't realise until I read that thread was that apparently these accounts form the Mystery of Babylon and is actually a central tenet of the occult and Satanism.
Both ancient Sumerian and Egyptian worship included much sexual ritulistic worship within it and interesting to see that the Pole of Baal , mentioned many times in the Bible as something detestable to the God of the Hebrews - Jehovah - is now being associated with modern day sex abuse involving Freemasonary and the elite class in the UK as well as potentially an international ring. Some of these Egyptian sexual rituals are literally only coming to light currently as many more tablets containing Hyroglyphs are being translated currently.
The worship or Cult of Baal also involved child sacrifice - whereby the firstborn Sons and daughters had to be sacrificed to this God by his followers - by burning them alive as infants - In the Bible this practice was specifically condemned by the God of the Israelites as something detestable and forbidden in the Torah an act "not even coming up into the heart of the true God", (which makes the teaching of hellfire by any supposed followers of Jesus odd)
All over the Western world people have been laying wreaths at War Memorials today as a Remembrance of the Dead of War - How ironic that these epitaphs take the shape of obelisks which are basically the Phalic symbol of Nimrod - the God of War and a symbol of a ray of the Sun to the Egyptians. I wonder how many dignatories, clergy etc realise this??!!! Effectively they appear to be bowing down to a Pagan God.
However in Alex Jones case - he would argue that World leaders literally and knowingly do this each year at the feet of a 40ft effigy of the Sumerian God Molech who is of course associated with Baal and Sun worship at Bohemiam Grove.
Fascinating stuff and it is sobering to say the least to see how this thread ties all this in with honouring Nimrod - the original God of War and the heinous sexual abuse of children, which is now being uncovered here in the UK.edit on 11-11-2012 by JB1234 because: (no reason given)

Ritual sex-magic was also a part of Ashtoreth (the queen of heaven) worship, which Jezebel, the wife of Ahab was party to. Using sex to control men, now take a look at the pornography industry, all the sex toys and vibrators and the putting of women upon a pedestal and making them sex objects. Rabbithole goes deep.
Well the porn industry exists because men like sex. That's just how it is. That rabbit hole isn't very deep...
No the porn industry exists because people like to take advantages of men and their wallets.
That's basically what I just said. You are disagreeing with your previous post. Men like sex, which is why they enjoy spending money to watch sex and have sex. It has nothing to do with rituals performed hundreds of years ago. Vibrators have nothing to do with men, they exist so females can have better "alone time" with themselves. The only thing vibrators have to do with men is the fact it's in the form of a phallus. You can use a broom handle or a cucumber and a cell phone and get the same effect. Sex has always been used to control men, for the shear fact that men love sex. That's just it. There isn't any conspiracy there.
Rape, Porn, Prostitution exist because men love to have sex. People see profit in this of course, and they make money off of it. It's a business investment. Men will always love sex, and thus, there will always be porn. Even if there were no women, I'm sure we would see a few DVD's here and there.

Hi y'all,
i was just toolin' around the ol' ATS and came upon this thread and saw this link to twitchy's obelisk thread and thought I'd throw this one out there. It's a thread I made after twitchy's thread was closed. It's called "Interesting Place to Find a Masonic Obelisk Thread" (ya see what I did there?). I thought it may be of some interest. No one replied back in the day, and that made me sad. :www.abovetopsecret.com...
Have a wonderful day!

At it's highest level it's sex worship. The 'G' sometimes seen in the square and compass doesn't stand for "God" it stands for the "Generative Principle" (S*x).
This is incorrect on both accounts. It doesn't stand for God or Generative Principle. It stands for Geometry, because Geometry is language of the Uni-Verse or One-Word.
The square represents the male and the compass - the female etc.
This is incorrect as well; The square represents the finite body, while the circle represents the infinite soul. This is where the masonic aspiration of 'squaring the circle' comes from.
If you look at Leonardo da Vinci's illustration of the Vitruvian man, you will see that he used a squared circle, the same symbol created by the overlapping of both masonic instruments.
Is there anything that you know about Freemasonry that came from direct study of their texts; or from the egregious interpretations of the profane?edit on 11-11-2012 by VeritasAequitas because: (no reason given)edit on 11-11-2012 by VeritasAequitas because: (no reason given)
There are two distinct meaning given for the letter G: the first is for Geometry, and the second is for God. This is very clear in the two different versions given for it, as outlined in the Second Degree work. At the end of the Tracing Board lecture in the Second Degree, the following statement occurs, in reference to the seven who make the Lodge perfect:
Some of the earlier drawing have the G and the Blazing Star separate, however, gradually these two symbols were incorporated into one and, about the same time, the general usage of G standing for God, and, specifically in the Second Degree, the Grand Geometrician came into play.
The most specific reference to the letter G having another meaning occurs in a French Exposure of 1744, Le Catéchisme des Francs Maçons, and in outlining how the Entered Apprentice became a Fellow Craft, describes the journey into the Middle Chamber of the Temple with the catechism – Q. When you entered [the middle chamber] what did you see? A. A great Light in which I perceived the Letter G. Q. What does the Letter G signify? A. God, that is to say DIEU, or one who is greater than you.
Well, that last bit is fairly telling... The word for "God" starts with a D in most languages... Deus, Dei, Déu, Dio, Diyos, Dieu, Dia, Dievs, Dievas, Dumnezeu, Duw...

I personally know of an ex mason who was in the hospital and was not feeling like himself after heart surgery and was arguing with his wife about going home. She took a shower in his room and he pulled a gun out of her purse and shot through the bathroom wall.
What I understand about freemason's teachings is that it totally suckers many into a sentimentality about being a part of a club and clubs have representations and meanings behind the symbols and all the nice uber important stuff.
...let me make it very clear that I am completely unimpressed by any excuses for secrecy with all they've got their hands in.
So, really... why be associated which such "brothers" You can't be unique on your own and just want to be associated with this bad reputation secret society?
You want support for bombing Iran? Talk to freemasons.
And why shouldn't they? They've got so many colorful symbols and rituals to be proud of.
I try to show how Masonry is occult, and itself a secret-sex cult eg. phallus obelisks worship, masons covering their most "sacred area" with an apron, masonic "G", etc
The 'G' sometimes seen in the square and compass doesn't stand for "God" it stands for the "Generative Principle" (S*x)

It's only in English and the Germanic and nordic languages that it starts with a G.

It has a very complex meaning. Once you advance to the sublime degree of master mason, it is explained to you in the lecture. Or you could look it up. But the first is the best way to learn about it.

I can't say any of that made sense. G? Q? What does Q have to do with G? How about being a little more specific?
