It seems Spire Law Group is a real law firm... however it appears the guy behind that firm is Mitchell J. Stein, and I've read several reports that he is a con-man who scammed desperate mortgage holders.

But I'm not convinced either way. The death of those children is highly suspicious and I'm not willing to throw this story into the trash without more conclusive evidence. But I'm certainly leaning towards hoax.

Lots of misinformation & jumping to conclusions in this thread.

Law firm is real, legal & newly formed.
Partners are sketchy at best, sued by the State of CA (if I recall correctly, they were also disbarred in CA).
But none of that means that the lawsuit isn't real - it is real.
The original Complaint is almost 400pgs, but the brief itself is only 10pgs or so - the rest is defendant' info. So it's a quick read.
The MSM is not now, nor have they been, covering it for the past 7mos.
Financial & international markets are covering it.

Here's a thread from May, a couple wks after the suit was filed: There's a link to the complaint there.

Here's one of my posts w/some case specifics:
"- The case is a Mass Tort Action, NOT a Class Action.
- To be a plaintiff, your mortgage had to originate from 2000-2009. (Although the firm's letter does say that if your mortgage was serviced in that timeframe, you should probably be in some suit or other.)
- They claim they had over 15,000 hrs in the suit before filing.
- They're charging $5,000-$17,500 per property (not including foreclosure mitigation), plus up to 30% of win (which may include your Note! .. hmm)
- Their fees are normally $500-$1000/hr, so they claim a $10,000 retainer would only normally cover 20dys work on the low side.
- Plaintiffs must sign a Retainer and a Retention Agreement (for the additional % of win).
- If they win you a monetary judgement, they take the 30% off the top. (Not uncommon)
- BUT .. here's the part that'll make your hair stand on end .. if they win a non-monetary judgment (ex win your mortgage) - they may hold the Note! (Understandable maybe, but could be frying pan to fire.)

Overall, it doesn't appear to be much of an option for the "lil guy", but still worth following & kyping the arguments says I :-) "

Here's a thread on the same Oct 25 Press Release as the OP here: The missing article on CNBC was also dated Oct. 25, 2012, 2:09 p.m. EDT, I'm guessing it was the same Press Release.

There's a dozen threads on the nanny &/or a potential connection to the lawsuit; I haven't followed those .. yet :-).

As much as I enjoy people using "Bankster" everywhere they can -- this is targeted at the TARP program, and everything that was ABOVE BOARD.

Timothy Geitner -- I could see him being involved in some Banskter shenanigans, but the rest of these people sound pretty peripheral.

Seems to me, once again, that ATS bloggers are finding something everyone is angry about, and trying to pin it on people they already don't like. Eric Holder certainly hasn't prosecuted a lot of crooks on Wall Street, but I hardly see him as a prime player in "laundering."

The Fed and banks can just PRINT this money, after all.

I want to see something listing people who've got diamonds on top of their ruby pinky rings. Dumping on civil servants and the TARP bailout which was a fiasco but was managed well when the Obama administration pushed for receipts and paying BACK the funds. It actually was successful in stopping some hemorrhaging.

However, the Fed just printed up many more Trillions and handed it to the banks. Goldman Sachs received more money than our entire stimulus package (for instance).

>> I predict this won't go anywhere because; 1) we don't prosecute rich people and 2) It's probably just more garbage thrown at the wall to see what sticks.

Obama may be enabling Crooks -- but he doesn't seem to be one of them.

The MSM doesn't touch anything like this sort of story. The people named don't seem like major players (other than Geitner), so I don't think this case (though real) has any chance of WINNING. So what's the point?

You make some good points on the background of this. Do you think it's perhaps a trolling lawsuit -- like, they don't really have a case, but are hoping someone will just pay them to shut up, and go away. Any dirt that they dig up, can be used as political fodder, regardless of whether it shows any culpability.

Why, because you say so? LMAO! What a joke.

Oh no not at all, he's just taking orders from them, so that leaves his hands clean right? Excuse makers like you are part of the problem, and I doubt that you have no other sinister motives on the eve of the election here either?

That's all good though eh? Tell yuh what friend, stick with your own misled assumptions, just don't try to shove them down those of us who actually have a brains throat because it's going in one ear and out the other tonight.

Know what that means? = Epic fail for your yes man explanation, which is nothing short of pathetic and desperate on a night like this prior to the election.

Obama is just another puppet, yet with that being said that makes him no less guilty of fraud against the Citizens of The United States of America. Nice try guy. ~$heopleNation

This story should've been title "the real fast and furious" Now you see it, now you don't.

When was this news article dated?

I would love to find out if this is true, but your reference to "Comrade Capitalists" tells me whomever came up with that topic name is communist.

What has been happening is not capitalism in any way, shape, or is socialism giving favoritism to corporations aka fascism...

But the thing is, if the murders are connected to this story, then shouldn't the exe producer of the news outlet just spill the beans?... His children are already dead...

Or is he a coward that he wouldn't even spill the beans after his children were murdered?... I could be wrong, but doubt that both stories are related.

It is a tragedy that his children were murdered. They are saying his nanny did it, and then she slit her throat.

Apparently, if it is true, this story seems to have been ran by MSNBC. Someone took a supposed picture of the article, but the link is to a blog, and according to the T&C I can't post that link.

Repost.....from much earlier.
This has already been exposed prior.

The best way to 'Control' the situation is to 'own' it. What better way to compromise a pending class action lawsuit than to 'Control' it? There is irrefutable evidence beginning with the brief GAO audit of the fed, TARP fraud, RICO violations, money laundering schemes, trust/holding company/sovereign city state financial districts/non-disclosure laws/non-extradition laws, fiat dole-ar/alternate currency central bank fraud, black ops funding, COG (top secret continuity of govt. expenditures), black space program funding, multiple financial litigations taking place worldwide, etc, etc, etc.....

How many times has Bloomberg infiltrated the class action scene only see the perpertrators do no time, admit no guilt, pay a paultry fine and be on their way to repeat the treasonous crimes against humanity? The lawsuit sounds wUndaful though the results are buried with mal-intent. Once again, the goal is the creation of a fiat one-world digital currency by fraudulently bankrupting so-called sovereign nations (though virually all already have fiat central bank currencies) by Design with a technocratic system in place to ensure debits/credits, take place at the push of one button or another to control all the lives of all sheople>folked. Digital world of enslavement (echelon control matrix, fusion center support) =the Matrix exposed.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As "The World is Not Enough" implies, the beasts become their own burden in their End, by design.
They were never satisfied, always paranoid (within reason), separated from humanity (rarely receiving correction) and not respecting the subjects/slaves below their foot while learning to despise themselves in their End. Would you? All suffer with such foolishness as every tyrant throughout history has witnessed, time to time. Brotherhood? Communion? Fellowship? Respect for life? Works when 'practiced' or rather known for what it was/will be, though most are too conditioned, programmed, dependent on the fiat system, to know any better or what to do for themselves. Only the self-sufficient community will save mankind; the few survivors.

Why did the tyrants of antiquity have to resort to one so-called oracle or another often found in the cave? Perhaps it took one 'separate' from the system, or society to see a matter for what it is. Also, when in a cave, light as a way of focusing on the retina, allowing certain insight, enlightenment, mediation, fOcus. Some of these 'caves' had certain gases as well that activated the pineal gland while stimulating the third "I". Interesting, huh?

Perhaps, because he (a tyrant) had no one else to turn to for he became his own worst enemy with not a Soul around to give him what he needed the most; correction, guidance, direction from the Ignorant nightmare they created for themselves and their worth-less sub-jects. It appears history will repeat once again with a bloody price for all.

I'm pointing out that this charge of racketeering doesn't have much merit.

Obama -- or ANYONE getting to the office of POTUS has of course, financial backers. Did you notice fundraising and all that? Wall Street banksters give money to everyone with more than a 10% chance. So merely pointing to a financial relationship between Politician A and Bank B doesn't mean anything. There isn't a politician A through Z without a relationship with Bank B.

I'm not apologizing for anything -- that situation sucks.

Here's what an ACTUAL solid investigation looks like; LINK -- it's a complex story of how Romney bilked the retirement accounts of GM and then got the government to cover it so that Bain capital made a profit via the GM Tarp funds. There's a real paper trail.

This has about 10 times more chance of getting traction than this "mess" of an accusation on $43 Trillion in Racketeering -- but that's ten time ZERO, because the Romney / GM theft isn't going anywhere either.

Yes, Obama is allowing crooks at banks to get away with a lot -- and so would any other POTUS -- and it's awful. But that's the way of the world we live in, and the only way to solve that, is to try and put people in office who MIGHT end Citizen's United, and fix the way we finance elections.

Until we have election reform, we cannot put in office people who aren't in the pocket of the Banksters.

The only conclusion I can draw from this is that the double standard is against the democrats. What happened on September 10, 2001 with the Republicans? Somehow they lost 4 TRILLION dollars in the midst of their "defense" spending. No one said a word. Hypocrisy at its finest. Oh, but of course the spot hit at the Pentagon the next day was the exact spot where the accounting records were located, but that is another thread.

I agree with most of that, but my point is that Obama is without a doubt one of the crooks. He doesn't get a pass for being the head puppet.

Good story....and the guy got re-elected....go figure.

I suppose all the election fraud wasn't enough. Well, that, or they needed more money to buy votes, pay for lying ads, and so forth.

The worst part of this is all the people gloating that he won.

I hear yuh my friend. Atleast we won't have any riots I guess? I have never seen such a failure be re-elected in a nation full of fools like here in America, the middle class is finished now. No suprise that those idiots who voted for this puppet will live to pay fines cause their broke selves can't afford $3000 dollar a year health care.

The poors fines for not getting healthcare will pay for those who do! Man, you robots are stupid, and you deserve what your hero fraud gives you. Obama the bankster owned puppet played your uneducated dumb asses.

You sorry useful tools, Obama thanks you, and he thanks you for playing part in the destruction of your own very families. Enjoy it androids.
