I am a junior in high school, I live in a very big city full of sheeple. i also go to a high school full of sheeple. But anyways.

It must be tough being a junior high kid with a hungry mouth to feed.

What's it to be sport? You a junior high kid or the father of a son with a bolt-action .22? Are you both or neither???

How do i go about going to school tomorrow? Do i just deal with that Evil eye and that occasional threat? I can handle myself pretty well, but with all this hate towards me, I wouldn't doubt a fight.

Take a day off school and take your son out to visit uncle who was experimented on! Damn, but those tennis balls must itch like all hell!

Hey now you never know what lies under the helmet, maybe he is a kid at heart?

It's very hard to improve upon the first few responses to the OP in this thread.

I think one of the most important things in life is to respect the fact that other people will not always agree with you and in some cases the disagreements will be serious. As a student, your first priority is to your studies. Anything that jeopardizes your ability to get good grades should be eliminated from your day to day routine.

The OP should ask him/herself a question. Am I really simply stating an opinion or am I trying to win an argument? Am I simply stating an opinion or am I trying to win a convert?

Ask the same questions (inwardly at least) of those you are talking to. That means understand the dynamics of the discussion. Know what is going on in the conversation.

A good closer for a discussion sometimes is just to say, "I respect you but we will just have to agree to disagree on this subject."

By the way, people who do to you what you yourself would never do to another person are not friend material.

Is the op lying in this thread or in the other one? Maybe the op would be so kind as to come back and clear up this confusion.

Contrary to what you appear to believe, there's no rule on ATS that states that you must read each reply to a thread before replying to a thread yourself. I read the OP, had a reply to the OP, and posted it.

If you're so concerned with what others are adding to a thread, I suggest that you ask yourself what YOU'RE adding to the thread, because it appears to me that you've added precisely nothing.

I'll tell ya what - I'll mind my posting habits, and you mind yours.

The entire premise of the thread is false. This would be like starting a thread about hunting heffalumps and then having a serious discussion about it, as if it were a thing that existed.

Hold your head up high and stick to your beliefs. I'm not sure I agree with your beliefs but I'm not going to make fun of you for them. I'm sure you have your reasons for feeling the way you do, and if the people around you at school can't except that, then screw um. Most of the people you know in high school you won't maintain regular contact with afterward anyway. That isn't to say you can't try and explain your position but if they don't get it then who cares. If they accuse you of being racist then tell them the same thing, stating that's racist to believe your decisions are made based on the color of the candidates skin as opposed to their qualifications. Besides even if you made the decision based on racism (which I don't think you did) it would be your right to feel/think that way as an American. That doesn't mean other people have to like it but they have to respect the fact that your entitled to your opinion just as much as anyone else. Other then that, just act/look tough if people try to intimidate you. People tend to be more susceptible to fear then they are willing to admit, and if you don't look like a guy to be #ed with, you won't be, at least, not very much.

Facebook is one of the fastest ways to find out who your friends really are. If people on your friends list are treating you this way... well.... they aren't exactly your friends now are they. Time to clean up that friends list.

Several pages back someone linked to another of the OPs posts, where he made a reference to the type of gun his son has, but in this thread, he's in Jr. High, so...

I know. That's what I was referring to. I was trying to be gentle on the op so that he might offer at least some explanation, but it looks like he put his tail between his legs and skedaddled. I don't blame him.

Good eye man! Seems this is Jr. High school kid, not only has kids and stuff. But owns an AK-47. Asking about how to create make shift weapons/bombs in other threads. What is this kid planning? Or what is this dude up too? Trolling? Most likely.
Hope the mods shut this show down once they get to the root of the issue.
As if this person is a Jr. High student, then this could lead to something very dark, and scary.. We have seen it before. But that is a far stretch.

Feel free to take a look at thinairs1 profile for more information. All threads and posts are logged..

FACEBOOK PROBLEM.

No Facebook, no problem.

Seriously I got rid of it, after I realize that ever single person I know has had some big time drama issues because of facebook, I had an ex-stalker find me and message me all sorts of stuff, the Gov't is keeping track of who says what.

On top of that, where I work at, I was the first to get rid of Facebook, when it was uncool to do so, and now everyone else I know is following suit.

You know how many celebs & athletes end up in hot water because of twitter/facebook? Tons!!!!

Stay away like the plauge

Yes, that is exactly what you could do. Stand tall and defend your position, but be ready with information. Be ready to defend the free enterprise system against Big Govt Nanny Statism.

there are people who have walked the earth who have taken bullets for what they believe.

Are you suggesting that a high school student should take bullets from a bunch of other high school bullies?

Its normal to be outcasted for not going along with zombie group think. Just keep your chin up and keep learning. You're probably more along the intellectual level of your teachers, some of which might also outcast you for having a different opinion.

What can you really do? lol

To the OP, just relax.

It is a natural part of growing up to be the "goat of the week." Everyone has been in a situation growing up where they felt their entire school hated them or mocked them. I felt that way when some guy went around spreading rumors about me.

Fortunately, you are just the "goat of the week." Some other kid is going to take the spotlight away from you.

Given the fact that The Romney Unit had his butt spanked by Obama, I have to wonder why on earth you were sympathetic towards him. Pity perhaps?

I had u2ud the OP a few days ago, stating that their presence was requested in this thread, they in fact have viewed the u2u I have sent, but no reply and no show.

Looks like we were taken for a ride.
