Get some brownie points for those pictures?

So what do we have as an alternative to Harper?

NDP - Thomas Mulcair
Liberal - Trudeau (or whoever they are going to pick?)

Harper may be a globalist, but at least he has some good points....the others are just socialists and my cat is more intelligent. (but I am guessing that some of you want a socialist in power, guessing that some of you would love to get rid of people like me)

Harper has no good points. With one hand he giveth to his friends and with the other, he taketh away from the common citizen and all the time he pretends to do the right thing. Go read the bills in parliament over the last year. There is an acceleration towards a totalitarian state.

At this point, there is no alternative. Anything supposedly elected from the corrupt "system" will simply support the corrupt "system." There are no libertarian type candidates who propose a government based social credit system without usury fees and the dismantling of the bank of canada, or at least transfer back into the hands of government. Btw, I have heard all of the arguments concerning the BOC, governors are picked by government from a list of potential candidates that is supplied by the IMF and therefore loyalties lay with the IMF, not the people of canada.

ETA: Another problem is representative democracy as opposed to direct democracy. Representative democracy provides for a corrupt control mechanism used to manipulate very few people (politicians) to control entire populations. We have the technology and have had it for the last 10 years to enable direct democracy and cut out the easily controlled "middleman." A second problem is the false dichotomy of 2 or more parties that creates ideological stratification, it's a divide and conquer methodology that enables easier control through division, especially when all parties are beholding to the same "controller(s)." Representative democracy only provides an illusion that the vote you cast that does nothing, means something.

Unfortunately, we need someone running against ALL of the present candidates that have the people's collective interest at heart, rather than corporations, bankers and of course their political buddies. I have already produced a list of what needs to be done to break the cycle. However, the status quo, those in power, will never allow someone who can fix the problems to be elected, since elections are fake anyway.

You know, the Earth is like Georgia with a bunch of big plantations. You have the controllers (Rothschilds...whoever) living in the big houses. You have the "handlers" (Soros, Kissinger, trilats, cfr, int. bankers) living in the big guest houses. You have the work boss (politicians) in the little guest house. Then you have the field bosses (any flavour of the day ceo) in big slave houses. Then there are all of us, sharecroppers. That's the system, it's debt based slavery that uses usury as weapon and allows us, the sharecroppers, to maintain our own slavery.

The present system is broken worldwide and it cannot be fixed using the already corrupted tools of the system, it has to be replaced. What the system is replaced with depends on what people really want and that comes down to education and mainstream media, which the corrupt system has already pooched and controlled. If replaced the wrong way, we will have a different type of malevolent dictatorship (don't think you have freedom, you don't, read the new bills through parliament). If replaced the right way, there will be no more war, no more hunger and no more needless suffering. The right way to start is to throw these clowns out on their collective asses, bring in a council, enforce term limits across the board, restrict power, enforce transparency, make lobbying with financial gain treason, make diverting large volumes of public funds by politicians for one's own benefit treason and to take back control of the money supply from the IMF. I would do many other things, but as I said, there's a webpage LOL.

The only way a new system is going to work is if the controllers of the system know that if they screw around, "they be gettin' hung for treason," because rope is a green solution ;-) You have to give them something to lose. Right now, there is no transparency, no one is responsible and there is no accountability in government. The buck just don't stop anywhere and seriously WTF is that, other than a license to commit as many financial crimes as you want at the expense of the people paying your salary?

People need to get seriously pissed off about the way things are now, so that they can change them to the way things should be, because it is going to get worse under the present system. Living in a delusion and thinking everything is going to be ok, isn't going to work, the present government system will continue to nickel-and-dime us to death.

Cheers - Dave

Your barking up three wrong tree, look at his avatar. He is openly socialist. No amount of arguing will make him see the light. Spend, spend, spend, bloated government and debt is all they understand. Oh, and witty little pictures of Harper dressed as Hitler. No wonder it was Hitler and not Stalin...........

Ps. I still don't believe you are who you say you are. I trend to think someone with your supposed credentials would be more mature than to sit and Photoshop pictures of Harper for fun. Fun to pretend to be a spy though, isn't it? (opps! That was meant for Bobsuruncle)

Now I'm a socialist because I play guitars and keyboard rather that do what I used to do for the military because my CO has been rendered positionally and politically impotent which makes me ronin, a soldier or assassin without a master? WTF, you need a grow a brain, go look at my website. BTW, the pictures came off the web, ba'ding and I really don't give a flying f*** if you believe who I am or not. We all have a history, mine just happens to be different ;-)

I believe in controlled capitalism, you know, restrictions so the system and the people can't be financially raped. This joke we have as a system of currency is the primary mechanism to create said rape and it has been that way for a very long time. Did you know that the world's GYP is about $60 trillion and yet the world's debt load is well over $600 trillion? If there is only $60 trillion to work with, where the hell did the other $540+ trillion come from? Who made up that number and why is the global debt 10x or more the total worth of global product per year? The world is insolvent, do you understand that word? Do you understand that if you owed the bank 10x more than you had in assets or were capable of creating in a year, you would be foreclosed upon? But the ponzi scheme in the financial system keeps running because of the MYTH that it's TOO BIG TO FAIL. BS!

Shut it down, shut it all down - from Dark City ;-)

I'll tell you why, that extra $540+ trillion in "money" is imaginary and created as log entries on the debit sheets of whoever the hell is in control. It's a big-ass ponzi scheme. Do you realize that if the BOC was controlled by the government with no interest created during the creation of money, that the entire federal tax portion of personal taxes would NOT be necessary and that personal taxes would drop by at least 40%? In addition, municipal taxes and provincial taxes would also drop by about 40%, because there would be no usury debt load to manage. Our government, Harper and all past governments, prop up this ponzi scheme to their own benefit, they know it's wrong but greed and possibly extortion have them by the short 'n curlies. If the MSM told people what was really going on in government and the financial system, you'd see politicians and international bankers hanging from lamp posts and places like Wall Street and Bay Street would have a lot of "for rent" signs.

Before you start typing, it might be best if you did some research and lived a bit of life so that at least you could draw your opinions from personal experience rather than an employer's disinformation topic sheet.

ETA: And by the way, if the harper unit (or flaherty or macteague, I know them both) wants to argue with me head to head, I am certainly up for it. I am quite sure CSIS knows how to reach me, so there's an open invitation for a televised debate on national TV as long as it's uncensored. I would literally tear him a new @sshole and gut his arguments, metaphorically speaking of course, on any debate topic he would wish to present.

Cheers - Dave

What a load of nonsense. Sorry OP but you are pretty out of touch with reality on this one. What province do you live in? Have you spent any time actually talking to natives?

I live in Manitoba and grew up close to a reserve and have had native friends since childhood and currently have many reserves as customers of the business I manage. In other words I have 35 years of real life personal experience when it comes natives.

Terry Nelson is a crook who was impeached by a vote of 9-1 from his position as chief for stealing at least $160,000 from the people he was elected to serve. He is a criminal and should be in jail but we wont bother with all that.

I could rant on and on about you're post but just let me ask you what other culture in Canada doesn't pay taxes and has a blank cheque at taxpayers expense for free education? Sounds like a sweet deal huh?

Are natives forced to stay on reserves? Nope. The only people who want to stay on the reserves are the natives themselves. We wont go into why but lets just say its hard for someone to have incentive to work when they get paid to sit on a couch.

However lets get into the numbers. Ottawa pays $8 billion a year to 630 Indian reservations. That is $13 million a piece for communities of less then 1,000 people. On a per capita basis that is six or seven times the amount of funding a Non-Indian community receives. The problem isn’t lack of funding, it’s lack of accountability with that money.

Link

So where exactly is the oppression by the Canadian government? Tell me that.

And please don't bother bringing up the residential schools with me because a search of my profile will reveal threads I started or responded too on the topic that clearly states my anger towards the treatment the natives endured during that disgraceful period of Canadian history. I also personally know natives who endured it and have been to the funerals of some who couldn't live with it.

Hummm...Me bing Native can understand the drive to make deals outside of Canada BUT...There is no way that the first Nations should go against the International trade agreements that Canada has set forth. Drilling for oil on Native land could be a sure fire way for the First Nations to make some well deserved money, specially if it is to be done by Aboriginal companies employing our own people to get the job done.

On another note, you've obviously have not been military and even close to Somalia, Afghanistan or any other world conflict. Somalia degenerated because of Somalians ATTACKING Peace Keepers and the only reason I actually know this is because I WAS THERE. As for Ghany....Buddy, you have no clue what Canadians are doing over there and Irak, we are building schools, providing clean drinking water, teaching farmers how to get a better crop and providing them with a sense of "ownership" of there own land. Canadian will go to war as we should but only to protect the god given rights of free people and free will and trust me, we've done more than our fair share so far.

Thank you and have yourself a great day !

A huge thanks from me to you and all the hard work you and our armed forces do in helping people all around the world. (and I had a friend die from an IED in Afghanistan so it really does it hard when people talk about Canadian human rights violations)

What gets me about Harper being mad here is that a trade deal COULD be struck between Iran and the First Nations...Why in the world didn't he even think about such a deal himself, I mean...Strike a deal with the First Nations for oil drilling rights ? Have the First Nations own and operate the whole thing and let the Feds deal with the trade agreement with other countries for a cut on the deal ? The feds have the contacts for exporting the product, and the foot work in that domain is clealy done and ready, the the paper work be done by the public servants and then give the First Nations the green light to drill on their land under the Fed and Prov guide lines concerning enviromental laws.

First Nations don't have to spend the money on the process of making the deals, Feds don't have the problems of going out to tender on drilling contracts and can be assured that the trade laws would be respected " with a little policing of course...LOL " and maybe, in the not so distant future, we could benifit from First Nation gas stations with $0.86 a litter gas !!!???

Maybe if the Feds would stop treating the First Nations as a seperate people and looking at the "reserves" as business's it would be different. Not saying that it would work or even if the First Nations would even consider such a thing but hell...Why not propose it, it's never been done !!!!

Sorry for the loss of your friend, I know what you're feeling. Ghany is a different ball game. Yes we are there to fight against terror but we are also there on a mission to give the people the power to be secure, independant and FREE from tirade and dictatorship. The education of a people is not done over night.
A "simple" thing like telling Afghan fathers to not cut the clitoris of their daughters because it is wrong does not only go against their beliefs, it infringes on their culture, religion and way of life. When two nations are so far appart in beliefs and practices, it's no wonder we come to war and massacre.
