Like I said the DMV surprised me. I had to switch over my Mississippi DL to a New Jersey because my mississippi liscence is expired and I've been
staying in new jersey with my father because of my divorce.
Anyway I remember how I used to dread going to the DMV because of the long lines, rude employees with no personality. I was even dreading this trip
more because NJs 7 point identification requirment to get a DL and I only had 5 points of id because my wife took everything and what she didn't take
she threw away.
So I walk in and I'm greeted right away by the manager. I explained the situation, he told to come to his office. We sat and talked about everything
but my id or license. We chit chated about watching storms, fishing, ghosts, guns for 45 minutes like we were buddies. After we talked he escorted me
around to each window to make sure I was taken care of.
Since the line was really long to get my photo taken I left to get some food. When I came back I looked for the manager because I got him and the
State Trooper who sits at the door burger and fries but he was busy so I left it at his desk and the cop must have thanked me like 5 times for
thefood. I got the cop food because while I was in line I heard him saying how hungry he is and he's not getting a break.
I get to the window to get my photo taken. The lady at that window was beautiful and had a great personality. She was joking around with me about this
grumpy guy that works there, she was from Bulgaria, she had a cute accent but she kept telling me so talk because she likes my southern accent then
she was trying to copy my accent, I was cracking up hearing her do a southern accent mixed with the accent she already has. She was so into acting
goofy she forgot why I was even there.
More people started comng in so we had to get back to my license. I said thank you and went to leave but I got stopped by the manager and he said you
better not leave without saying bye. I said my thanks and went to walk out when the cop walks up to me and hands me a piece of paper, it was that
girls email and phone #. She couldn't leave her window so she told the cop to give it to me.
So I'm shocked how much differant the dmv is. They were the most friendly people I've ever met in New Jersey which is weird because jersey people
are very rude and it seemed being rude was a requirment to work at the DMV.
I felt like I had too tell y'all . This should posted in the Paranormal forum because of how strange and unusual that is...
Btw. I know someone will say that we were being rude for holding up other people. I will tell you the people that were in there were doing other stuff
and when someone did get in line behind me I left. So I didn't hold up anyone..
