just in the case that nobody has translated the latin in the BL Game..

Una Infinitas

Una = in one, together
Infinitas = eternity, infinity, endlessness

Abominatio Nascitur Autumno

Abominatio = to abhor, hate, detest, abominate
Nascitur = to be born, spring forth
Autumno = to assert, believe, affirm

amantine said at ID.com that una Infinitas meant "one infinity" and "Abominatio Nascitur Autumno" means the horror begins in autumn.

I believe her translation is correct, as she corrected their latin orginally and they changed what the site said to match her spelling and grammar of the words.

quite possible... the webtool i used to do the translation gave a couple different meanings for those words. i simply went with the ones it defaulted to. my reasoning for that being, they would be the most commonly used...

so, "one infinity" might equate to the NWO...

and "the horror begins in autumn" could be = Election related, WWIII, the Rapture, etc, etc, etc... take your pick.

The horror begins this autumn could mean, that this game starts in autumn, which technically it has because everyones wondering what the hell it is so i guess this was part of the game plan and they seem to be releasing information bit by bit.

The image is now rotating and we have a new sentence....

hic est tuum temptamen quod temptat tua potentia

Here is a good affort at translating...

You choose what it says

hic est tuum temptamen quod temptat tua potentia

Though I think Mirthful Me is correct with the latin saying "this is your trial and trial your might", here are some of the literal translations of the words in case we need them in the future.

hic - this, this one; this present; in court, my client
hic - here; in this place, in this matter; hereupon

tuus -a -um, possess. pron. of the 2nd pers. sing. thy, thine, your.

temptamentum -. a trial, attempt, essay.

quod, conj.: the fact that, the point that; as to the fact that, whereas; because, on the ground that; why, on which account; with temporal clauses, since; as far as, to the extent that; introducing a fresh sentence, and, but, now, esp. foll. by si.

temptatio -onis, f. a trial, test; an attack.
temptator -oris, m. an assailant.
tempto -are, to prove, try, test, attempt; to test by attack, to assail; to work upon, tamper with, excite, disturb.

tu, pron. you.

potentia -ae, f. power, might, ability; efficacy, potency; esp. (unofficial) political power.

Also i dont think this game has properly started yet as i said before they are releasing little information all the time so i would think this is a tactic to get everyone to notice it and get more and more curious, more of a mystery that way.

You might have had some cache options switched on in your web browser so that you would have to refresh the website before your browser updated it.

Actually thats exactly what happened because the image is still called BL.GIf so this would be in your cache and your browser would have thought, oh its the same i wont update anything until he refreshes the web page

Glad you can see the updated page now, i started to wonder about my sanity for awhile there.

I have found out there was a DnD style series called Werewolf: the Apocalypse 2ed and one of the books was called:
Chronicle of the Black Labyrinth

BigDan, if that is the path we are headed down, I have read the first book for the game and might be of some help. Drop me a u2u on ID.com (i am assuming you are the same person there, as your avatar matches) if you want any information.

I can supply a little bit of information on any White Wolf game, if it comes to that... but I don't know if the people that designed the Black Labyrinth are gamers.

We'll wind up having to put all of our heads together for this one, for sure... so far, it could mean anything.

there is a new line of text on the page.

it reads:

viginti tres gradus ad summam potestatem

one other thing...

is it me, or is the image now "spinning" the other way?

I wish I'd paid closer attention before, but I have a feeling that you might be right about the image now rotating in the opposite direction.
