I don't know if it matters. I think the Republicans and Democrats are two sides to the same coin, or a different mask on the same face. They both are oligarch tested and oligarch approved. Either way the house wins. We need viable candidates who aren't backed by the Owners. Some folks like Gary Johnson or Ron Paul, but any "other" choices aren't even considered by the oligarch-owned mainstream media. It's quite the illusion.

Yes, you are right.

The problem is, there are to many stupid people voting for the "good old" parties like Democrats and Repuplicans.

There will Never be Enough votes for people like Ron Paul.
Even though it is probably the only way to turn the country around.

So, for now, I will vote for Romney.
It is the best option for the USA at this point in time.

Obama have made too much damage, to let him rule another 4 years.

Faith does not belong with nations.

Romney is euthanasia to America.

The fact that there is no plurality of candidates with a viable chance to win the election beyond two parties consisting of ideologies I cannot in personal conscience support or vote for, killed my faith in our electoral process many years ago.

In my opinion an Obama victory will be detrimental to our wellbeing and the wellbeing of the world for the reasons already outlined in this topic. But likewise, a Romney victory will in my view also be detrimental to our wellbeing and the wellbeing of the world for somewhat different bur equally concerning reasons.

For me, the signing of the NDAA into law and the stopping just short of complete banning enhanced interrogation techniques in his 2009 executive order were all I needed to know to decide that I would not be voting for Obama. Everything else is just on top of that. That just conflicts too strongly with my principles.

In the case of Romney, all I needed to know was that his campaign's foreign policy and national security advisers included the former Vice President of Blackwater, several Project for a New American Century (now defunct) members, the co-author of the PATRIOT Act, advocates of war with Iran as early as 2001, one of GWB's so-called neoconservative "Vulcans" (not my term,) and the man who oversaw the NSA during the warrantless wiretapping controversy.

I cannot in good conscience vote for either of these men, personally. I respect everyone else's choices and opinions. Peace.

Romney Obama, don't think it really matters. They are both rich old men, that will say anything to get elected... rather have Obama lesser of the two evils.

While I will agree that Romney is another Banker-Military Industrial Complex Lapdog, I believe he loves and cares about our country, while Obama I have no doubt Hates most everything American and wants to tear it down; I believed this even before seeing 2016 Obama's America.

In my book, Obama is the worst enemy our country has ever faced and those with him are willing wannabe traitors who, if they get their wish and Obama is re-elected, are going to find themselves blamed on the street level for everything bad Obama will undoubtedly do to this country double-time.

Whatever the case, do us a favor, find an Obama sticker of your choice and put it on your vehicle.

The fact that you're "excited" about Romney and think he'll be any different than Bush or Obama invalidates your entire argument.

If anyone represents big money, I think it's Romney. How can that possibly be good for America? I heard it this way: both parties put you in jail. Repubs give you bread and water, Dems give you burger and fries. You're still in jail. You have to go outside the system to get out of jail. How do you do that? In consciousness first, then the rest will follow. Easier said than done, I know.

You will fit right in with all the other republican majority who believe Obama is Muslim and that biblical verses are fact while evolution and climate change are stories.

Backwards.

Hey, OP, who cares what you'll lose? If The Plastic Man gets in the Oval Office, we ALL lose. How anyone can take anything he says seriously, is beyond me. Did you hear his 'foreign policy' speech yesterday? What a joke! The guy wouldn't know sound policy even if he could claim it on his taxes, (or profit by out-sourcing it). This guy cares about his ilk - the super rich - period. Obama is FAR from perfect. But Romney is light years away from acceptable. Just my opinion.

Obama is a disaster. I said the same thing about Bush and then the Democrats went and nominated John Kerry. Romney is the first candidate since 2001 that I'm excited about.

I liked Reagan and Clinton but Bush and Obama are horrible.

Romney will turnaround the mess and he will go after the debt. Romney doesn't like debt and that's great. At Bain, co-workers called him conservative and careful with other people's money. He turned deficits into a surplus at the Olympics and Mass. His sons call him cheap.

Obama will do nothing about the debt and will add to it because he wants to put in place his social programs that will transform America.

Obama is out to destroy the basic struxtures of America. This all stems from Black Liberation Theology. They see the problem as whiteness and whiteness is represented by America.

So Obama says the Constitution is fundamentally flawed, he says he's bringing us collective salvation and that Americans need to sacrifice in order to reach a new age. This is why Rev. Wright said GD America. America is guilty in the eyes of Black Liberation Theology and we need to be fundamentally transformed.

Your either a) a Mormon
b) racist(as both President Obama and Ex-Governor Romney are both Progressives)
c) have had some form of mild brain damage.

Voting for the lesser of two evils still means your voting for evil. Either way thank you for your coming out, as it is easy for a person who doesn't speak much to look wise, but once the jabbering starts.. Well I am sure there is a spare dunce cap somewhere around here.

All in all the OP screams manufactured fake though. Reagan started the death of America with the first Amnesty and beginning the mass off shoring of American Job's. Clinton helped put the final nail in the coffin for America. America has been a walking corpse since the 90's because of the action of those two traitors.

If Romney is elected it will just confirm for me that my faith was lost with Bush Jr.

I still cannot believe we elected Bush Jr. for a second term, and I always think what might of been if Gore had taken the Oval.

Romney is another one of the upper crust trying to improve his situation and that of his peers, more tax breaks for the rich, more trickle down "May I have some more gruel please" economics, more wars to keep the lower/middle class busy and patriotic. More legislation that divides instead of unites, more fearmongering.

I would rather write in Sponge Bob Squarepants.

I went to my wise old grandmas house yesterday and the daily show was playing. Talking about the presidential debate.

I asked her " So how is it they are running a presidential debate with only 2 of the 4-5 possible candidates?"

she replys " Its because there are only 2 running candidates! democratic or republican"

I mention that there are more candidates, she replys "NO THERES NOT, Theres only 2 on the ballot that was mailed to me"

At this point i use my phone to show her shes wrong via the presidential candidates website.

She then goes and gets her ballots and it does infact show 4 candidates, obama, romney, stein , johnson

So i re ask my question " so why are there only 2 candidates being showed? she replys " its because the other ones dont matter!"

now i always considered this woman to be full of wisdom and common sense. But this wise old lady is being programmed and fooled by the television. it made me sad seeing this first hand, i dont see any change happening from voting. We need to wait and watch this society crumble before our eyes like in europe or the middle east before anyone is going to realize how serious this matter really is.

And its pathetic, we now live in a world where everyones been demoralized so much they will put up with the bull#. Anyone who speaks out is almost instantly silenced. So where does that leave us?

Educate the people around you and concentrate on creating building blocks through our young ones. If us fighting class 18-50's can all work together and help create a new wave of enlightment. the bad bacteria will die off in 50 years and we wont even need to fight a war. we just need to out populate them and force them to the grave . evil will not stay in power forever

Wake up!!!!
When you don't vote you have been controlled because one party doesn't want you to vote. The fewer people that vote the more likely it is that they will win. This is the Republican party. So, if they can befuddle your mind and make everything look grey to you, they win. Don't kid yourself and think this is your choice. You have been manipulated.

I think you are kidding YOURSELF.

I don't care if the republicans win, nor do I care if the democrats win. Wake up, they both serve the same interests. I don't CARE about abortion, or gay marriage, or whatever tiny issues they fight over. The fact is, Americans overlords, and our foreign policy is always going to be the same.

It is my RIGHT to not vote. NO ONE has ever convinced me not to vote. In fact, I've been yelled at, insulted, criticized, and told I'm UnAmerican simply because I refuse to vote. I've had to go against the grain just to stand up for my beliefs, and me not voting, as I explained, is MY political statement. My statement that I don't buy into this faulty capitalistic machine that is destroying the world at an ever accelerating rate.

You keep telling yourself that democrats are better for America than republicans if it makes you sleep better at night. I'm old enough to have seen the damage done by both. They work hand in hand, two sides of the same coin. 4 or 8 years go by with dems in office, and they install their part of the agenda. ANother 4 or 8 years go by, with republicans in office, and they complete the other half of the agenda. It has been like this forever.

Amen. Do you guys KNOW why there are democrats and republicans? As I explained before, having 2 clashing sides, means the american public is going to be invested in the dilemma, one way or another. The ruling elite WANT the country to be divided in two. THey LOVE the fact that americans are fighting over who should be our president, a dem or repub.

Wake up people. When the dems are in office, they fulfill their agenda , given to them by the ruling elite, and when the pubs are in office, they do the same thing. It is made to look as if both parties disagree entirely, but yet its the small issues that they disagree on, the issues that don't matter. When it comes to things like foreign policy, or corporate interests, both sides are in agreement.

We have 2 major parties, just to confuse and manipulate the public into thinking WE THE PEOPLE actually have a say it what happens in this country.

I will NEVER vote for Presidency. I think in order for things to actually get better, the major institutions of this country and this new world order need to collapse. Only then, can we rebuild something better. The changes this country needs isn't going to happen from WITHIN the political , nor the government systems. It will happen from them collapsing, and a better solution being created.

Again, I agree entirely. This is exactly what I was saying.

Each president that has gotten into office has been part of the global agenda of the ruling elite. Each president has a specific agenda they are to follow, and they can't deviate from that. The ruling elite KNOWS that each Country, and each society needs to be controlled by different means, because the people are different, the cultures are different. The way they control America is through "democracy". They have convinced the people of this country that our vote matters. That we have true democracy. That the people themselves are the government. That WE are the ones who control which laws exist and which don't...because our officials are representatives of US, and we elect them. The truth is, the president is just a puppet, and both the democratic and republican parties work hand in hand towards serving the ruling elite. The same with elected officials on the local and state levels. They are all connected.

Different countries are ruled in different ways. Socialism and Capitalism are also two sides of the same coin. In theory, BOTH socialism and capitalism work. In practice, there is a ruling elite behind them both, that controls everything that goes on (although in theory, both are supposed to be AGAINST that).

Wake up people.

Great analogy! This is how things really work, folks. It's an illusion of choice. I don't know how people continue to believe this two party Coke vs. Pepsi Presidential mumbo jumbo.

"Who are these men? And who do they represent? Could it be they are the best the Business Party has to offer in the way of maximizing profits for the few, while pacifying the childlike masses with flag-waving jingoistic rhetoric? Well? Is the choice between Democrat and Republican really a choice? There may be two sides to every coin, but what connects them is the coin." -Bill Hicks
