Christian Does Not Equal Muslim

I'm not even going to speculate about Obama's faith. My thoughts are that he wants it kept relatively private, whatever the case, and that's his prerogative. People (even Obama) know that Christian does not equal Muslim. I'm assuming he's being political by focussing on the similarities.

However, about the bowing. Obama has not been adequately trained in international protocol by his advisors. Yes, really. There is footage out there of him making an absolute fool of himself in the UK in front of the queen- all because he didn't learn the protocol for the situation he was in. It was so painful to watch that you felt embarrassed for him. We can blame his advisors for that, but he still had a responsibility to learn. An American president has a responsibility for learning protocol when dealing with people from around the world, because, like it or not, those things matter. People can save face, snub others, show inferiority, or show solidarity via body language alone.

I don't know what religion he is. If he's a Muslim that's fine with me. He should just come out and say it though if he's an American. This country was founded for religious freedom. If you can't say it here where can you? But I really don't think he's a Muslim either.

Politicians aren't really religious at all. They just pretend so they can get elected. It's just about impossible to get elected if you call yourself an Atheist. But it's also just about impossible to get elected if you actually LIVE by Christian values. Hmm, what a paradox?

The only way to get elected in this country, especially as a Democrip, is basically to act like an Atheist, but call yourself a Christian! Think about it. It's true. You know it is!

See a Christian literally CANNOT BE PRESIDENT. It would be impossible. A Christian can't be sworn in! After that the signs get even more obvious.

Christians can't lie, steal, and cheat. So how can they be politicians? That's absurd. That's a politicians job description!

They also can't murder people! Which Obama has done. He's killed innocent US civilians and last I checked has not repented for it, nor been imprisoned for life. And what's worse is this country is so screwed up a cold blooded murderer has the BEST chance of winning the election!

This election year we're LITERALLY. And I do mean LITERALLY going to elect CHARLES MANSON as President. Seriously. Go look up what Charles Mason did. He ordered a bunch of people to go kill some US citizens.

Now look at what Obama has done. Same thing. Sorry Charlie, if you would of worn a suit it would have worked out better for you!

The people who are close to saints are from all religion and no religion. God does not leave his children behind for humans not understanding god fully. . This "once great country" was great because the large majority honoured their God in everything that they did. There was no "WE built this" but rather "GOD built this"

God was added after to lot of things, it was originally built by individual with different beliefs/no beliefs.

Front doors were unlocked at night, parents didn't fear a pedophile, and rapists and murderers just weren't a concern.

Understand the bible and you will start seeking council from god and not from humans caught up in dogma/traditions/conditioning. The bible is just as it is supposed to be. A test for the rightous to see if he/she can notice the lies and ignore it.

2) People do not serve the POTUS, a POTUS serves the people. a POTUS is not our Master..in a republic, the people master themselves with laws drawn up by a consensus and enforced through consensus methods. This is why religion and our political system should never touch..because politics is not a religion, nor do we serve our politicians. You don't demand to know the faith of a toaster before putting your bread into it...it does its job or it doesn't, thats all that matters.

If heaven is filled with fundy christians, it would then be indistinguishable from hell.

He more than likely was raised in BOTH faiths, just as many of us were raised in more than one faith. I myself was raised Catholic, Southern Baptist and Wiccan with a sprinkling of Pentacostal thrown in for good measure. I went to Catholic Mass on Saturday, Southern Baptist church on Sunday, Pentacostal church every other Thursday, and was exposed to Wicca every day for many years.

Many families are of mixed religious beliefs, and many children grow up being educated in more than one faith. So even though Obama claims Christianity now, he probably still feels a connection to the Muslim faith as well.

And yet during his lifetime Jesus was never reffered to as the son of God. He was not thought to be any kind of deity. He called himself just a man. He followers did not call him God. They did not call him son of God. They called him a prophet.

To all the "Christians" who have such a problem with Obama bowing...

Would you have a problem with him getting down on his hands and knees and washing their feet??

Are you really Christian, or do you just call yourselves that?
