Or the brand names? I want one for a new Subaru I bought but cannot look it up. I keep getting the strangest sites not even close to what I want. It's about 2' tall by 5'X3 1/2' for the width an length.

Any suggestions and experiences would help for a first time potential buyer. And to be more specific on what my use will be, tools, dirty gear when weathers bad for clean storage, ski and boarding gear, pretty much for the guy living the outdoors life. Alaska mind you... Lol.

I would like to get a small prop an a makeshift inflatable raft for aquick get away survival strategy but duct tape will do just fine for now.

Any advice will help, thanks.

The ol' luggage carrier.
Go soft,not hard.
Something you can stowaway when it's contents are emptied.
It suck's when you drive somewhere with a limited height requirement and things go bad.

I don't think I've ever seen a soft one, but height would not be an issue. I would most likely go with a hard shell with the daily use and busy life,

thx for advice!
