Iran issues Canada travel warning

TEHRAN – The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a travel advisory on Wednesday, requesting Iranian citizens, who intend to travel to Canada, to be careful not to walk into traps laid by some criminal groups in the country.

Given the fact that Iran has no longer an embassy in Canada and some anti-Iranian groups in the country have a good opportunity to take revenge on the Iranian nationals, the nationals should be vigilant about the issue.

Ok now this is funny

Seems that Iran feels the need to warn her people about the dangerous Canadains .

Funny thing is winter is soon approaching and when it does any would be traveller from Iran to Canada will see nothing but people in ski masks walking around carrying these funny sticks with hooks on the end and wearing shoes with deadly steel blades on the bottom of their soles . Boy what will the half scarred traveler think ?

Is this serious? Avoid the evil Canadians? The only thing you need to avoid in Canada is alcohol poisoning, hot women and being killed with kindness. This is completely asinine. Seriously, who hates Canadians?

The only way I could see anyone of any nationality being in danger in Canada is if they go there and start takling smack about hockey......you may loose a couple of teeth over that.

My landlord is Iranian and nothing but the best kind. Ive talked with him many, many times.

I have friends and family in Canada. I live on just this side of the border from them here in Washington.

The article is about an attack on Canadians as in we are a threat to Iranians if they come here...which is nonsense!

It's simply in retaliation to their embassy being shut down (which was an act by our government not the people of Canada)

I can assure you that Iranians can travel here and not have anything to worry about ( well if they travel in a few months they may have to worry about frostbite but not the people!)

Dick Cheney is afraid of us too!!

Remember this story from last spring when he cancelled his visit because he was afraid for his life.

This IS pretty much what always happens if you close an embassy...

Look at Iranians as People like you look at Canadians as people.

This is really not about anything else. The Iranian Government is using their balls, to show you that it's not just the US who decides who the good guys are. It's rediculous to fear canadians just as it is rediculous for me to fear Iranian people..

That's the post Slayer responded to with what he wrote about canadians which wasn't responding to me.
