And it dose not help seeing all the fire stations on alert here in Los Angeles.

The fire trucks parked outside is a dead giveaway.

Really? That would cause me some worry as well. Can you take any pics of this?

Does anyone think the 6.2 in Mexico was the BIG EVENT or a pre-cursor or just another day for quakes?

I still get just a tiny bit anxious when that happens...I think it's just because Our West coast has yet to produce a cataclysmic event in our life time. and when I say cataclysmic I mean something along the lines of Japans.

I guess we shall see.

Positive thoughts!

It's a strange occurrence in my town when an hour goes by and the fire truck or ambulance doesn't wail. It would just be more of the usual, you know?

Just so we are clear, that 104 hour thing is FAKE!

Now with that being said, here is the guy's FB page where he will give the 104 hour warning.

www.facebook.com...

He hasn't given it yet, and I don't think he ever will.

Well yes the quakes are following the fault line. Plate tectonics is the key here: www.iris.edu...

My prediction? .. that nothing like that will happen.. it will pass like all the other failed predictions.

It seems people are playing the natural disaster predictions like a lottery these days.. remember that with so many people making up predictions, one of these years someone is going to be right, that's just chance.. my fear is that people will look at them in awe and buy into their crap further =)

I live in the Pasadena area and I've lived here for all the major quakes, silmar 1970, north ridge,Whittier , and the one that was out in the desert. Felt them all, realy scary, but I think those were just 6.0 or smaller

If we have a Japan size quake, there will be major damage!!

Pluss so cal will be cut off, the San Andreas fault crosses both major highway routs out of LA, the 5 frwy and the 15frwy. There are other routs but not as big. If that fault line moves it WILL destroy those routs for a long time to come.

I'm as ready as ill ever be, I'm stocked up with supply's and gas so bring it on allready!!
They have been talking about "the big one" for years

Did y'all notice the global incidence map Dream Fox
posted above doesn't show a single quake in or within 500 miles of Japan?
Not even a tremor. That's pretty quiet for that area.

They are indeed. That is where earthquakes usually happen - on a fault. Some of the current activity is the aftermath of the GOC 6.3

I note you don't comment about the west/mid/east Turkey swarms, the eastern being right on Van where the last big quake was.

By the way has anyone actually defined what is meant by megaquake in this instance. Normally it is defined as 8.5 or greater. If there are 3 Mag 8.5 quakes in the next 2 days I would deem it an act of HAARP God because it certainly is highly unlikely to happen without some intervention.

I have to say I cannot see anything currently on the drum that makes me sit up and take notice.

This is the cumulative counts since 01 Sep. Note that the line is straight and goes up evenly - even with the GOC quakes included. Agreed this is 'california' so covers a huge area but any anomaly WOULD show up.

In my honest opinion nothing is going on in California just now that does not always go on in California.
