It is kind of crazy.

I think there is a word for it. Synchronicity? I'm not sure.
But whenever someone mentions squirrels, I automatically think back to that Zombie cannibal squirrel.

Violating the rules of ATS as well as posting off topic comments will likely get your thread removed/posts banned.

Live with it...if you don't like to play by the rules, stop posting and creating threads. But don't cry about it every time this happens to you...if all else fails, delete your current user account and set up a new one...start fresh amigo

I would agree with you... but... your just patting yourself on the back for being able to follow the rules, that doesnt show any creativity or free thought. I don't agree with censorship. I believe in freedom of speech. maybe the "wah wah wah" as you put it, is other peoples frustration with censorship they see as ridiculous.

Sometime stuff get's deleted because certain mods are picky. Take the 9/11 forum that has withered now, peopel got fed up because mods were not being fair with the way they dished out warnings etc, like they had certain people's backs. Favoritism.

Anyway, is this a troll thread or what?

What we need now is a horrible ATS troll to show up, goad watchitburn into breaking T&C......

Then see a complaint about it.

If this wasn't a privately owned forum with terms and conditions that every member agrees to upon creating an account on this privately owned website.

I may have only had one post removed, but I have been corrected by the moderators countless times. From the content of my signature, to the file size of my avatar.

ok thank you, I know mods are going to come on here and say, No we don't have anyones backs. but they do. They absolutely do. Its so frustrating when it happens. Listen, if you think censoring someones opinion is ok, you need to pack up your family and move to china. Then OP, you will be terribly happy. They will cut your F****** arms off when you say something they don't like, now thats censorship!

I had 2 threads removed mainly because I was trying to promote a video i made titled PIPEBOMB of truth how the world was hijacked by sociopaths and psychopaths. Am I complaining? no because it was just a thread. Sure I would have loved the extra couple thousand views. But meh looks like I won't be getting my videos to go viral.

No, this is a "Rant" about members complaining because they failed to follow simple instructions

Rant: Let loose some steam and get it off your chest! This is the place to rant about anything that does not attack other members, the staff, or ATS itself.

And by other members, I believe they mean specific individuals.

I don't spend much time in the 9/11 forum, because nothing will ever be accomplished there. So I really can't provide any input about what transpired there.

If you know of someone, or have been yourself, the victim of an out of control moderator. I suggest sending a UtoU to another moderator or one of the site owners. State your case in a clear, concise, rational manner and I am sure the situation would be resolved quickly and peacefully.

But I personally, have not observed or been the victim of any such behavior.

Alex is Alex. I've done my research long before I have ever heard of him. Besides my research pretty much matches his only I looked into things he never had looked into.

Too funny. I have never had any posts removed, but when I start a new thread it almost always gets moved because honestly I have a difficult time determining where the heck it really belongs. I am thankful when the mods move it so I dont look quite so stupid.

I don't know about anyone else, but that pisses me right the hell off. I won't even read the thread anymore, which I guess is childish and immature, but whatever.

Yeah I dont do that....it makes you seem insecure. But, mine always get moved anyway...and that is ok with me. They are nice about it. SOmeday I will figure it all out. In the meantime, the mods kind of save me from the embarrassment of the trolls pointing out my mistake.

if having a post removed shakes your very foundation, you should get out more.

I have, did as you suggested, and the matter was resolved in my favor peacefully. One mod decided I had plagarized a book review. Plagarism can be a capital offense here. In fact, every word was mine, but I had to vociferously claim ownership. The mods had a discussion. Springer got involved, and my post was restored. Key point: Don't swear at them or call names even if someone deseves it; just state your case. If you really are correct, they'll do the right thing.
