This reminds me of when MSNBC edited footage of a black man with a gun, in order to claim he was a racist white guy. Its pretty clear the Democrat party media wants to portray the GOP as nothing but racist white men who are out to get everyone else. Those of you who buy in to it are being suckered.

MSNBC Omits All Coverage From Minority Speakers at 'Racist' RNC Convention

A funny thing happened on race-obsessed MSNBC tonight. The liberal network failed to give viewers coverage of the speakers who happen to be member of racial minorities. As Francesca Chambers, Editor of Red Alert Politics, reported on August 28th:

When popular Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz, the GOP nominee for Senate, took the stage, MSNBC cut away from the Republican National Convention and the Hispanic Republican from Texas’ speech.

MSNBC stayed on commercial through former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis’ speech, as well. Davis, who recently became a Republican, is black. Then, when Puerto Rican Governor Luis Fortuno’s wife Luce’ Vela Fortuño took the stage minutes later, MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews opted to talk over the First Lady’s speech. And Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval? Noticeably missing from MSNBC, too. Mia Love, a black candidate for Congress in Utah, was also ignored by MSNBC.

Why is MSNBC trying to exclude conservative Republicans of color in their coverage? Could it be that they are aghast that they're not on the side of the infallible Barack Obama? Could it be because it cuts against their persistent whine that the GOP is the party of "dog whistle" politics aimed at working-class white voters?

It's irnoic since Daily Beast contributor Michael Tomasky friviously labeled this year's RNC convention as racist.

Shall we take bets on when Condi Rice's speech is interrupted by a Michelin tire commercial?

To test your theory, I actually flipped throught the channels. PBS, was the only station who stayed the course during the "minorities" speaking.

Malcolm X said that any African American that identifies with the Democrat Party is a chump and a traitor to their race. He also called them Uncle Toms.

All African Americans should be insulted by the Democrat Party and their blatant pandering and false promises. The Democrats and their leftist media would say anything to get elected. The Democrats have no shame..

The fact that we have to make a big deal over having minorities speaking at the RNC speaks volumes. It shouldn't even be news or a discussion. It should be a normal expected thing.

You can argue over the reason why until every tuns blue, but the fact remains that the Republican party lacks diversity.

The Democratic party is just the new age slavemaster, continually patting minorities on the head and telling them they are not equal and never will be.

I am confused, is this thread about the RNC or the democrats?

Exactly. So, why is the media so intent on not showing them at all?

Maybe that has something to do with the never ending DNC/MSM campaign to scare minorities away from Republicans? There is a lot of diversity in the GOP, but unfortunately the media ignores them or paints them as race traitors, while guys like you deflect for them.

Who cares?

MSNBC didn't cover their speech...ok. Neither did FoxNews.

Are we worried about proving to the minorities which party is better for them? How about neither. Both parties pander to minorities, not because they value their opinion or place in society, it's because they need their votes.

The MSM outlets like MSNBC, ABC and FoxNews all play that game for their party of choice.

Try to contain your butt hurt a little better. It's about the RNC, Democrats AND their propaganda media. Its a Democrat party/MSM narrative that requires them to cover up the contradictions to their lies.

Anyone who is a target of the media's white menace fear mongering. You don't give a crap, but I think it's pretty dangerous to have a mass media that's essentially just the attack dogs for the Democrat party. Or how about non-whites who do hold views in line with the GOP, but who get attacked as race traitors and ignored when they try to speak out?

Who really cares?

The only reason why so many minorities are speaking is because the GOP wants to make it seem like Black people are against Obama too. They are painfully tokennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

It's like when Fox wants to talk about black people or urban issues, then they bring one of their tokens on to discuss it.

And of course black republicans exist, I'm not saying they don't.

Malcolm X wasn't a Republican either....

We won't follow any leader today who comes on the basis of political party. Both parties (Democrat and Republican) are controlled by the same people who have abused our rights, and who have deceived us with false promises every time an election rolls around.
www.malcolm-x.org...

He's got a point! Nothing changes.

Then that dispels this whole thread. It just wasn't MSBNC, it was everyone

We all know that PBS is "liberal" right.... This doesn't fit into the OPs "liberal media intentional minority cover-up" paranoid conspiracy.

Shouldn't you be outraged about the mass media ignoring certain speakers based on skin color? But no, it's your team being racist and they're only being racist towards Republican minorities. Who cares about them, right?

Tokens = Black people who are not Democrats or who don't tow the MSM/DNC line. You're a disgrace.

Why are you so confused? Are you playing dumb? The media ignored minority speakers based on their skin color. They did it to advance a Democrat party/MSM narrative (Republicans are RASIS!). One that you see being repeated right here in this thread.

Tokens = black people who are chosen to speak just because they are black..nothing else.

Just like Atur*, who was a Democrat a few months ago, lost the race for governor, saw that his career was going nowhere.....so he MAGICALLY becomes Republican overnight. Real coincidence.

Really? Does that mean FoxNews also ignored speakers based on their skin color and are trying to advance the Democrat "narrative"?

I think you may just be a little perturbed (AKA: butt hurt?) that your thread is based on weak assumptions. The Republicans try too hard to not look racist that when things like this come up....they look racist.

How about you settle down and worry about something better than trying to make other people out to be racists?

Okay, I think i got it.

The democrats are at fault for the problems of the RNC coverage.

ALL of the minorities that spoke were boring and unimportant. So no, I really don't care about them at all, neither should anyone else.

Artur = not holding office; irrelevant
Mia= not holding office
Luis Fortuño = governor of puerto rico, irrelevant unless you live in Puerto Rico.
His wife = really don't care

ive noticed this as well
the republican party responds to almost anything thats remotely related to a demographic that includes a large portion of a particular race by trotting out someone of the same racial background in order to appeal to that group or at the very least makes sure the camera gets a good shot of someone in the audience
and democrats do this as well but to a much lesser extent

how anyone could even begin to justify backing either one of these parties to themselves at this point is absolutely beyond reason and all this "look how bad this side" "no look how bad this side is" "a republican said this" " a democrat said that" make me physically ill
theyre both fubar and trying to defend one or belittle the other is absolutely despicable
