What is this ring from? Masonic or other private group?

I am sorry, I don't upload images well; let a lone start threads often.

My cousin has this ring and asked about trying to identify what is is from. She said it looks Masonic to her but I don't have a clue.

Unfortunately, I have no where to upload the image and just have her picture from FB (I know, I know, you all are anti-facebook) but if someone could copy and imbed it and shed some light on it; that would be awesome.

Odd Ring

I don't think it's Masonic at all. Other than that, possibly middle east or Asian symbols or words ?? just guessing.

I wish you could put a picture through Google translate!

It kinda looks like a boat with a sail or something.

Very Asian, not Masonic.... in my opinion.
Are there Asian Masons? I never thought about that before!

Is it inscribed in the inside? Look for a jeweler insignia and try to contact the jeweler.

ETA - A little back history would be helpful here also. Like did she inherit it or find it at a yard sale?

Thank you all for your thoughts on this along with imbedding the image, I finally figured out how to get it to my ats uploads and tried from there.

I am not good with trying to figure out what looks masonic, that was her (my cousin's) assessment of it.

I will pass along to her anything that sounds viable.

It is a pretty ring. It may be a custom designed one commissioned by a person, to have special meaning for them.

I've had a few custom pieces of jewelry done, that would drive someone crazy, trying to figure out what they meant by looking at them.

Doodle,

I have asked her about any inscriptions on the inside of the band. Great thinking. I'll post back any responses that i get from her.

Edit to Add: There are no inscriptions on the inside of the band at all.

It has a Scottish Celtic flair to me. If Druid42 comes to the thread, he could yay or nay that for us. He knows his runes quite well.

Ok, after staring at this thing I have turned into a perv.

I think I am seeing a fertility symbol here. I will see if I can work it up on paint. While I am at it, try to see if you can make out two people.

Sorry for my childish drawing, my 6 year old could have done better.

Well ATS members, tear me apart for my foolish imagination.

It's not Celtic, no smooth flowing lines. The Celts loved the smooth flow of design. It's not Runic, either, where you would see sharp defined shapes following a futharck. I am spending a few moments researching this, but coming up empty. More than likely, it is a personal inscription.

Appears to maybe be related to a sigil, looks like some enochian maybe or a hybrid spell system, the type you would find in an arabian grimoire

A Sigil and that other stuff, are they harmful to her health?
