Again FALSE information plants DON'T repeat DON'T emit infrared they reflect sunlight and the plants structure determines how much infrared is reflected.

Don't believe the HYPE you got from a conspiracy site if what they said were true why don't they show it in action any tv company would run the experiment because it would be a great story for them, get some people out and about with $20's and film them from above the people who started this BS must know the frequency OR they couldn't claim what they claim

As far as finding them in a field or a forest it doesn't happen that way.

Police have used thermal technology in the search for illegal marijuana growing operations. The plants involved put out infrared heat, but law enforcement is often more concerned with the heat emitted by the apparatus surrounding the plants that help them grow, like heaters and lights. When a police helicopter flies over a suspected illegal growing operation, it probably won't get a heat signature from the plants, but it determines if the heat signature overall is consistent with conditions common to growing operations.

Since Pot Plants grow quickly with proper light which INCREASES THE RATE OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS...Pot Plants give off a great deal of OXYGEN during this process and whether it be night or day OXYGEN GENERATION BY POT PLANTS IS MUCH HIGHER THAN THE SURROUNDING PLANTS...and since Plants require a great deal of CO2 which is a Natural Higher in Temp. of the surrounding air...GAS...and since OXYGEN which is being released Night and Day at a VASTLY Greater Rate than all other Plants in the Growth and Budding of a POT PLANT....this Oxygen is Naturally COOLER than the Surrounding Air. Thus a Police Chopper Fly's by and via computer analysis IR Detector can determine a Plant which is pulling in Higher Temps of C02 Gas towards it and also the IR-Camera will detect the POT LEAFS which are COOLER than the surrounding Plants...NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE REFLECTING HEAT OR THUS IR LIGHT....but because the POT LEAFS are COOLER and register as such on the IR-Camera as they give off large amounts of COOLER THAN THE SURROUNDING AIR LEAVES THAT ARE GIVING OF OXYGEN...all the while...A SURROUNDING AND SEPARATE OUTLINE OF WARMER CO2 IS BEING ABSORBED BY THE POT PLANT LEAVES AT THE SAME TIME.

This allows for the detection of POT...NIGHT or DAY as the IR-Camera has nothing even close to compare with...that being a Plant Leave that is Colder than the Surrounding Forest but at the same time a surrounding Higher Temp. Gas being drawn in to allow for PHOTOSYNTHESIS.

Thus your argument over REFLECTION OF LIGHT is not what the Police use the IR-Detector Camera For...they use it to see a very specific IR Light Pattern that distinguishes POT PLANTS from every other Plant out there.

This is true for looking into Homes...but as far as finding POT in a Forest....POT generates alot of Oxygen as well as takes in alot of C02. The Oxygen is read by the IR-Camera as Lower in Temp. than the surrounding areas with an outline of incoming C02 which is WARMER that the natural AIR.

Thus a very specific and EASY to pick out IR-Signature is caught by the Police Cameras. Pot is so different from every other IR Signature that it is easy to pick out even though they use a Computer.

What some people make as a MISTAKE is that they only think about a Higher Heat Source when using IR-Detectors. It can work just as well in the opposite direction as well as POT drawing large amounts of C02 to it and this shows up WEIRD...like a COLD LEAF surrounded by C02 which is always higher in temp than Air or pure OXYGEN!
