you know i dont represent every christian but i sure do know they will not be pleased by seeing such hatred

Next time they reach for an example of intolerant Christians who demand the same level of merger between church and state law by demanding punishment for religious offense...

Well guess what example they now have.

Pussy Riot didn't destroy anything from what I know, all they did was perform an anti-putin song in a church. But I guess this was an awesome career move for them at least, now they are world famous.

On 21 February 2012, as a part of a protest movement against the re-election of Vladimir Putin, four women from the group came to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour of the Russian Orthodox Church in Moscow, crossed themselves, bowed to the altar and began to perform the song "Virgin Mary, Put Putin Away". After less than one minute they were escorted outside the building by guards.[15][16] The film of the performance was later used to create a video clip for the song.

In the song, the group asked the "Theotokos" (Virgin Mary) to "become a feminist" and "put Putin away".[17] The song criticizes the repression of dissent in Russia and the church's support for "rotten dictators". The Russian Patriarch, Kirill I of Moscow, is described as someone who believes in Putin rather than in God.[18] Kirill had shown open support for Putin as a candidate before the presidential election.[19]

Go cut down a Putin sign and I would support it.

i was raised a christian but dont go to church anymore
because most church doesnt represent God anymore
what these girl did was offended and pure hatred against God and Jesus

they already served 6 month and they will maybe released in another 6 months
if they proove they are not a danger for the society and later make an appeal

If freedom of speech is dead, then religion should be in the grave right next to it IMO.

Uhmmmm the Pussy Riot protest was against Putin. The church supports Putin, that is why they did it in a church.

Where is OSHA when you need them!! That is a terribly unsafe way to operate a chainsaw! At least she had eye protection on I suppose.

The 2 year sentence for "hooliganism" is outrageous, I should have had the death penalty by now by those standards, but cutting down a cross with a chainsaw is just as ridiculous.

The world is going through the apostasy that the faith says will happen, and things will get worse.

You can go down to their level, or you can hold tight and not let the temptation to anger rise.

Remember the man that died on that cross said if you even look at another in anger you are guilty of murder.

You simply don't understand the article you are discussing, they aren't comparable to the KKK, the leadership of the Church didn't endorse government, they endorsed Putin, big difference between endorsing government and endorsing a political leader which no church should be a part of unless they want to get a backlash, like what is currently happening.

Just because someone offended you or the institution you believe in doesn't mean they are possessed/influenced by a scapegoat that that institution fabricated in the first place.
