Former President Ronald Reagan talking about the Taliban:

Reagan meeting with Taliban in White house:

I am not sure how accurate the quote is, regardless of the accuracy of the quote, it still shows Reagan meeting with the Taliban. It was the USA who created Bin Laden, and therefore USA was responsible for 911. USA trained Bin Laden.

Historical accuracy isn't that important eh?

The Taliban as an entity weren't in existence in 1985. They came about as an orginazied entity after the Soviets left.

2. Is there proof that those "gentlemen" were Taliban?

3. That quote could have been taken out of context and made in reference to another group of people and put on this picture.

There really should be a "source" of some kind so we can validate this claim.....where did you get this picture and is it a credible source?

Aren't the Bin Laden's and the Bush's historically best buddies? I'm sure I read somewhere that some of the Bin Ladens were in the white house at the time 9/11 was popping off or just before.

The Taliban never formed until the mind 1990’s so I fail to see how this could be Regan meeting them a decade before the came into existence.

Would have expected more form you pro.

I already said that the quote may not have been accurate and misplaced, I am not denying that, but the Picture is 100% accurate. Shows that the US trains and funds people, then backstabs them and labels them differently when our agenda changes.

Mujahadeen regrouped as the taliban. Calling the same group of people a different name does not take away from the fact that they are the same people.

If I renamed you Kelly, does that mean you are a new person?

That is an Ugly fact that many Americans refuse to believe and that IS that the US government DID create the Taliban. The fact is , that the US helped the Mudgahadin fight against the USSR.
The Fact is George Bush SR was friends with the Bin Ladin family.
The fact also is that Prescott Bush helped Hitler.

Your picture still doesn't prove that these men are mujaheddin/taliban. To make such claims we need a credible source if we are to have an educated discussion. And even if they are, we need a credible source that states why he was meeting with them so that we know the pretenses of the meeting. It matters. For all we know, Reagan could have been warning them against "terrorist" actions against the US or he could have been chuming them up trying to make friends. Your picture is not proof of anything except that Reagan met with some foreign guys from the mideast.
