certainly not here on ats.

I've been a widow for 3 years now and am just starting to adventure into places like equestriansingles and farmersonly.
I have quickly come to the conclusion that they are all fakes, scammers, and scary people.
I'll just wait for Karma, thank you

yeah it's really really bad out there ~ scammers and dirtbags have completely destroyed what should be a pretty good way for meeting ...

some people like OkCupid.com because at least you can take silly tests and entertain yourself ...

Really?
Adult friend finder of course.

That was during my in between wives.

That was booty calls, not anything to do with a relationship.

You want a relationship and more, there is the real world out there with face to face, flesh to flesh contact.

Not the best pond in the world, but it works a hell of a lot better then a bar...

These days what are the options to meet someone....seriously!

A frickin library?

Play the sims online. If you are male, you are a piece of meat there....lol

Come to think of it, is that game even still around??

*ponder*

I beta tested for a year for TSO and played it for about 5 years after,
and let me tell ya, I knew several people who met and got married after playing it, well, about 3 that I know of.
A lot more people met, but there was also the horror stories that came with those...lol

fun stuff if you are into it.

and yep, dating sites are just too scary for me. people are soo fake, you never know what lurks in there. and bar scenes aren't my style either.
perhaps my destiny is to be alone, if so that's OK.
sometimes I wish I had company, sometimes I'm just too scared to look.
whatever cards life deals me I'll work with it.

I met my husband on eharmony. Now it's almost eight years later and we have a beautiful son. I couldn't be happier.

Well I've figured out a few things but still it's challenging. Kinda amazed some sites still require you pay for the ability to even use them. As if that's not totallly outdated.

I tried eharmony once, but it said there wasn't a match within 500 miles.
Suppose it didn't help that I was living on an island out in the middle of nowhere lol
And congrats!!

I think I paid thirty bucks or so a month, was a member for three months.

Best ninety bucks I ever spent

I ended up moving three hundred miles to my husbands town. I lived on my own for most of a year before we married. Did a lot of growing up during that time....well worth it.

Sometimes you just gotta take that chance, you know?
