Juarez, Mexico - The US Central Intelligence Agency and other international security forces "don't fight drug traffickers", a spokesman for the Chihuahua state government in northern Mexico has told Al Jazeera, instead "they try to manage the drug trade". Allegations about official complicity in the drug business are nothing new when they come from activists, professors, campaigners or even former officials. However, an official spokesman for the authorities in one of Mexico's most violent states - one which directly borders Texas - going on the record with such accusations is unique. "It's like pest control companies, they only control," Guillermo Terrazas Villanueva, the Chihuahua spokesman, told Al Jazeera last month at his office in Juarez. "If you finish off the pests, you are out of a job. If they finish the drug business, they finish their jobs."

ok not surprising but lol the hits just keep on coming! how much more before we all wake up?

It started in the Jungles of Southeast Asia and the Opium trade for the CIA, IMO. They moved to something different in the 80's for the rebels and the Columbia and Peru for the 90's. Oh, the hits just keep on coming from Criminals In Authority.

On the large scale, it was George W Bush Snr when he was working in the oil business. They used the oil rigs to traffic drugs in oil drilling equipment.

This provided the black budget for the secret space program and all the secret bases.

This may also be one of the reason JFK was killed. He supposedly discovered this fact.

This shouldn't surprise anyone. All you have to do is ask yourself why the government is so adamant about keeping certain drugs illegal, namely marijuana. It's far less harmful than alcohol or tobacco, has never caused anyone to act in a violent manner, and in fact relaxes you and mellows you out. So what's the problem?

The problem is that the CIA has learned from prohibition that there's a huge profit to be made in illegal substances, and refuse to let this opportunity slip through their fingers. Al Capone is not dead, he just heads up the alphabet agencies now.

It had to be played on wire services
It had to be bells ringing
Comedians stopped dead in the middle of a joke in Las Vegas

It had to be FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover and Frank Costello syndicate
mouthpiece meeting in Central Park, New York weekends,
reported Time magazine

It had to be the Mafia and the CIA together starting war on Cuba,
Bay of Pigs and poison assassination headlines

It had to be dope cops in the Mafia
Who sold all their heroin in America

It had to be the FBI and organized crime working together
in cahoots against the commies

It had to be ringing on multinational cash registers
A world-wide laundry for organized criminal money

It had to be the CIA and the Mafia and the FBI together
They were bigger than Nixon
And they were bigger than war

It had to be a large room full of murder
It had to be a mounted ass- a solid mass of rage
A red hot pen
A scream in the back of the throat

It had to be a kid that can breathe
It had to be in Rockefellers' mouth
It had to be central intelligence, the family, allofthis, the agency Mafia
It had to be organized crime...
