TSA security agents to be deployed in UK airports for Olympics

www.rt.com

The US Transport Security Administration has reportedly prepared its personnel to be deployed in UK airports for the Olympic Games. The US agents will apply their skills to help their UK colleagues bolster security during the event.

TSA personnel are to arrive at UK air hubs a week before and stay a week after the London Olympics, according to a newly reached agreement between UK’s Department of Transport and the US Transportation Security Administration, Sky News reports.

Oh no, the airport molestors are coming to my home country Britain.

Not a huge surprise, with G4S failed to supply security (even though plenty of people have voluntered) and the both the british army and police force have to fill the gap for this over-commercialised Olympics.

Question is, will the TSA behave themselves? In my own opinion, i do not think so.

Has the TSA EVER behaved themselves? I'm sure there is an IQ test that you CANNOT make a certain high grade. Like maybe 75 or lower, because, if you were smarter, you would question why you were in that job, instead of "just following orders". All it is really, is conditioning. "Get in line and get your grope"; "don't like that? Well, go get into the porno-scanner, all of this is for your protection, and our pleasure."
They are trying to get everywhere, be everyplace, and terrorize everyone. "For our protection", of course.

now we know why the BA adverts were telling us to stay at home for the olympics as they don't want to get associated with a massive increase in anal cavity searches, hope they have a welcome to blighty course of the linguistical differences as "its costing me a bomb" or other such coloquial outbursts may not paint them in any better light

wonder though if customs could get the blue gloves out and give them a intimate welcome to England

Hmm, from what i have seen, the TSA are coming in small numbers to help with arrivals at Heathrow from American Airlines (rather than helping with security at Heathrow per say).

In other words, anyone coming from America still gets the intimate pat downs they have grown accustomed too, the rest of us get the usual slow service.

Upon seeing this story my initial response consisted of three words, the first being 'What?' and the last being 'off'.

Headlines such as this are stripping all the fun out of what once seemed nothing more than enjoyable, absurdly indulgent conspiracy theories.

Didn't Cameron request help from some jumped up New York super-cop this year?

Bringing American security tactics into the UK just won't work. The British are too proud to let Americans try and run the show. As for bringing the child-feelers from the TSA into the airports, what a disgrace.

We should kick them out and tell them to sod off back to New York.

Edit: www.dailymail.co.uk...

This smug jerk.

David Cameron's new adviser on gang warfare would be prepared to become a British citizen to become head of the Met Police.
American 'supercop' Bill Bratton has told friends he is prepared to swap his nationality if it made any difference to the selection process for the country's top police job.

Yeah, when i saw the headline on RT i was a bit shocked myself.
Never did i thought that the notorius TSA would be working at my home countries airports, even for a short time.

I hope that whatever they made to do dosen't involve in touching up anybody!

Again, they are coming to help with arrivals from American Airlines.

If you do not fly American Airlines, this will not affect you.

If it does end up affecting you, then we will have been lied to about the purpose of the TSA being here. That is when the conspiracy theories could really get going!

It feels like the people of the UK have all been fitted with invisible thumb screws, and they are being tightened daily by remote control. Having read this, I can feel my thumbs start to bleed.

that's a very important bit of information, thanks. Was about to start a vitriolic rant about yanks telling us what to do in our country, so thanks. I am very uncomfortable with troops on British soil in whatever role(unless they're on leave etc), i don't think they're needed, let alone foreign troops. Just imagine what the yanks'd say if we had British troops on their soil telling people what's what...
Also would it not make more sense to hire troops from mainland Europe? They're much closer and have more experience in dealing with terrorism... Most dutch people speak English so why not dutch troops. I am pretty ignorant to military matters so hope somebody can explain this to me.... cheers..
