it might be you stuck in a city with massive gridlock, no power, no water, no gas, no cell phone, no food trying to outrun a thermonuclear warhead having seconds to live.

because contrary to hollywood, you'll have no warning, but mass panic.

imagine 10 million people all trying to leave a city at once.

the whole united states will be a target, so where are you going to run to.

look out the window and think if you can outrun a nuclear missile without a car.

if Nato and the US with Israel to the mistake to Invade Iran and Syria
Russia and China might have a retaliation plan
thats why you wont see Iran or Syria strike first
and lose Russia and China support

my Jr High School science teacher used to tell us that if this country is ever targeted and getting ready to be hit by a Soviet ICBM, just lay back and relax as it won't be worth surviving.

I'm inclined to accept this advice as an adult.

that said...we aren't going to be hit by anything at all. Damascus is totally screwed though....but Wiki says its the oldest continuously inhabited human settlement in the world...so they'll bounce back in about 100 years or so; no big deal.

and just think...all Assad had to do is truly reform his government and give up Absolute control; apparently this request was asking too much and he prefers the situation as it exists, which seems to be getting worse.

and his only response is that nothing is happening in his country.

some of these people are really eccentric. their point of view is quite bizarre for the casual observer.

how the hell is al qaeda able to fight on dozens of war fronts simultaneously; spread out over nearly all of Africa and the Middle East and the island nations of the Indian Ocean and people say the US military is stretched thin?

I admit i was wrong about the date ... saw the Iran war way sooner then 2012
Russia and China opposition delayed the Iran and Syria invasion by the US
and the fact that they didnt strike yet
Putin probably them both not to retaliate yet risking losing China and Russia support

it took a while for the US to come up with a new plan
because attacking Iran and Syria directly like Iraq and Afghanistan (Iran at the center) wouldnt work
but there is always plan A B or C just in case

That is simple to answer. Al Qaeda is like Anonymous (LIKE...not the same...), They are everyone and they are no one in most cases...just ghosts in the wind. Bin Laden wasn't an idiot in the beginning. He made the McDonalds of bad guy clubs with open franchise rights anywhere someone wants to use the name for the added impact. Not supporting Assad, but why should the leader of any country stand down because another nation "says so" ?

Its absurd.

Libyan citizens had far better lives and more governments than any Western nation could wish for.

Libya was not a threat to any nation, yet an uprising was orchestrated.

What if Russia/China orchestrated an uprising in the USA?

There would be a large following you can bet, but most wouldnt even know that is was being funded by Russia/China.

Assad is well within his own rights to supress any foreign sponsored insurrection. Any nation on earth is.

Its when innocent civilians get caught in the corssfire that it changes things.....but the media not reporting accurately is also to blame.

Why dont we hear of the massacres the western sponsored rebels are comitting?
