World War about to Erupt in Syria

Interesting meeting scheduled for the 20th.I made a statement revolving on and around that date.I did state 24 hrs either side due to times zones.My comment was made with a strong reasoning,if I am correct I shall link it hear for all to see.If correct it is then a deliberate and planned action,not chance.And yes Ben things are rapidly heading in that direction.

Our government along with the hollywood elite have pumped up the Mayan calendar thing and it's "chaos", the Iranian mullahs are pumping up the madji coming out of the well and want world wide chaos so to bring the world wide rule of Islam.

I still have a lot of questions on how this ww3 start and ends
what country will be affected and how many nukes will be used

i saw a general comments about using nukes if a war with Iran happen
even if Russia and China dont ally with Syria and Iran

the Iran side with Syria Hezbollah and hamas
with all the sleeping cells around the world that they probably have
can do heavy damage .. they maybe dont have any nukes
but they have chemical and dirty bombs that they launch

with the US attitude .. they dare Iran to attack first

a reporter from New Delhi spoke to an indian friend of the boat victim
and contradict the US official version on all front

What happened they say is that the US vessel tried to intercept the indian boat
and without any warnings they opened fire and kill on the spot the victim

Once again the US protects its navy on a murder

What bugs me with these discussions about WWIII is the ever-present assumption that, if and when it does occur, it will imply a thermonulcear exchange...IMO, such an assumption tends to skew the whole debatebecause, inevitably, it creates deep divisions about how likely such a drastic move might be, whether the stakes or tensions are high enough, etc...

In all probability, nuclear war will never occur, if only because nuclear weapons are a pretty damn old (and rudimentary) piece of war technology - for god's sake, it's almost 70 years old!

Do you really believe that the vast amounts of money that have been poured since 1945 in R&D for new weapons and black projects, together with the huge strides in scientific development (including biotech, nanotech, AI et al) has yielded nothing better, more targeted and discrete than a nuclear bomb?

In what age are you people living?

Have you even ever heard about geothermal and climatic engineering, plasma weapons, space-based systems, etc?

I agree that there is an increasing likelihood of war on a global scale. Every year since 2001, the tension has been slowly building between the sides, up to the point where we now have two apparently well-defined axis (US/Europe/Israel Vs China/Russia/Iran). And if the people behind the curtain have their way, their rivalry might eventually escalate even further (something which, I hope, we will avoid).

But we are past the point of using nuclear weapons - this is nothing but a cold war fantasy. Indeed, with the current technology, we could be in the middle of a global war right now and not even notice it, if you get my meaning.

Given the amount of weapons and ammunition alone WW3 appears inevitable. Some day some one is going to use all these weapons. I don't think it will be used for decoration purposes only, or all the metals will be recycled for purposes other than warfare.

Yes I know weapons should be seen as a deterrent, a warning for any other country not to attack. But that's just it, I doubt there will be a time when countries trust eachother so much they can do away with armies and weapons, not gonna happen and unrealistic. Add differences like religion and ideologies like capitalism, socialism, sharia, communism, dictators which cannot be overcome ever, put it all in a finite place with finite space and resources and there's a recipe for war which I might add happens every so many years. Humanity has a long history of wars.

Not that I worry, this life is temporary, mentally preparing for the day I get drafted to defend my country which might happen in my lifetime has been interesting. In a way it makes me appreciate life more in relatively peaceful times. I wish it would be different and we'd all be friends and cooperate with eachother but that's just less likely to happen than an all out, definitive war.

I doubt it will start in Syria though. I don't even believe the theatre has formed yet for a third world war to emerge but I do think it will happen in the Middle East. But Africa is also a candidate I believe, when all the worlds resources have been mostly depleted there will probably be some left in Africa and China, Russia, Europe, Arab countries and the US will fight a final battle in the lands where it all began.

WWIII began 10 years ago and it was lost because you can't kill all the terrorists because the whole of terrorism is Islam. The sale of all these toys tops the numbers in world trade (even surpases drug money by a bunch id bet...)
The point being that all these toys we spend all our extra money, and all we can borrow on.....have a shelf life....
They become worn out, or obsolete, and must be discarded regularly over time...then replaced with even more advanced sstems of death at even higher prices, and shorter shelf lifes......thus we have spiraled downward socially, spiritually, and in every important way....

This is FAR from the case!

Just to be picky, those weren't tanks, they were Bradley Fighting Vehicle's which is an armored vehicle for troops to ride in. "Tanks" would eat Bradley's for lunch, especially at middle and close range.

That was enough for a heavily reinforced battalion, or maybe even a brigade, but it was only Bradley's and a few HEMITT fuel trucks. Alot was missing for it to be a complete unit. Humvee's, artillery, M1 tanks, 2 and 1/2 ton trucks would all have been included if this was a unit deploying.

My guess is some unit was getting new equipment or equipment back from rebuild/overhaul.

If they were going to the ME they also would have probably been painted tan, but that can be done later.

The military moves equipment all the time, doesn't always mean there is going to be a war.

Of course it doesn't mean there won't be.

I saw the 1st Infantry Division entrained and rolling through OKC when they were headed to the port in Galvaston to go to Desert Storm...They entrain by unit groups. So you might see a company of tanks, then a company of Bradleys, then artillery pieces, then the trucks and support vehicles....then it starts again, because they were already set as units....these were just Bradley's over and over..I wouldn't worry to much.

I agree but with these mad man in power
its been 50 yrs since they dropped 2 nukes on cities
they have done it before and wouldnt surprise me if they use nuke again

US generals have said that conventional nuke may be used on Iran
because it is so large .. (3 times the size of iraq and 10 times the size of syria)

I know we live in a age where new modern secret tech will be used if a big war comes

i have see reports about very high tech weapon being used in Iraq

witness say they have saw a 1 big tank that looked unusual
and what that tank fire was something else that could melt anything it touch
what it could do to cars .. melting them to the ground in seconds
the military will do test prototype just to have fun
but are very secret about it to avoid the big enemy(Russia and China) to know about it
thats why if a modern war happen nukes can be used for the last resort
its a possibility that cant be ruled out yet

Even China and Russia will not show their new toy until needed

The US with the new high tech toys is very discret when using them
many new satelites are probably weapons under the disguise of a communication sat

Its like Playing a game of chess where you cant see the other moves
unless you catch a patern.. if you dont act quickly then the next move might be on you
