I thought the message was being heard, I thought they were scared of Ron Paul, I thought it was a sure thing....

Guess not....

Now to get back on topic....You can easily attack Romney so much in one post, but I have never really seen you fight against Obama this much. Why do you automatically rally against Mitt Romney and not Obama?

Obama's WORSE and doesn't want smaller government. That is enough for most people.

Ron Paul or Gary Johnson bc they support the Constitution and its inherent freedom

or...Obamney the one who stands for taking as much of your paycheck as he can get away with and transferring it to his friends and buddies, Goldman Sachs, Unions, govt employees, foreign corporations liike the Nationalized Brazilian Petrobas, federally funded abortions, and health insurance companies, also taking away your right to decide on your own healthcare issues, destroying offshore drilling for the US while giving away rights to foreign nations, giving citizenship rights to illegals, tying up companies with more regulations, taxing us for not purchasing insurance, increasing troops in Afghanistan and bombing Libya without Congressional vote, TSA fondling pat downs and those insane backscatter machines, assassinating American citizens with no trial in a court of law, and that's just the stuff we know about.

If you are for Ron Paul for freedom, how can you be for Obamney for giving up our freedoms? This is a serious question.

The few policies Meh Romney is willing to elaborate on, Americans in fact DO NOT like. They view them as Bush style politics and are over it. They are delaying the debates for as long as possible, but once they start and he has to out line things in a more detailed fashion, he will loose. big time

Goodness...the fact that they have to manipulate the news and commit election fraud isn't enough evidence for you that they are SCARED of Ron Paul?

Where the hell have you been? too busy hating Ron Paul on your silly blog to live in the real world? People were beginning to wake up, Ron Paul's front runner status in Iowa just a week before Iowa caucused is proof and the FACT that CNN artificially inflated Santorum and created the narrative of the Santorum Surge is even more proof.

No Obama is not worse than Romney and vice versa. They are both evil bad on their own merit. You even know this as you have not even attempted to rebut all of the failures of Mitthew Willard Romney.

Its so sad when even YOU know it inside that Mitt Romney is wrong for this country but you are rooting for him because you feel he is isn't as bad as the other guy.

Go ahead, pull the trigger and regret it.

Lol Romney will probably be facing felony charges soon.

Looks like the GOP better be focusing on finding a replacement!

So then why would you personally favor Obama more than Romney, if given the choice?

The only reason I would vote for Obama is to let the charade continue and let them shatter their own two party system. Voting for Romney just buys another 4 years for the establishment = prolonging the facade and keeping the people in the dark.

It has nothing to do with being republican or liberal or a classical liberal.

Another 4 years of Obama would be devastating. Lots of people think we cannot sustain 4 more years without complete collapse. There is just so much damage to the Republic. It isn't just Obama though, it's those standing behind him, the entire Power Elite/Cabal/Rothschilds/Illumnati.

And you are not going to shatter the two party system by voting Obama, unless Obama completely obliterates elections altogether and becomes a dictator.

Complete collapse of what? the economy? Obama and Romney both support the bailouts, they both support the actions of the FED. The economy isn't free, it is controlled and manipulated so it will collapse when the FED or their shareholders want it to.

Whatever Obama does is only a continuation of Bush and don't think that Romney represents change from Obama and Bush.

Perhaps they believe in science and are more racially tolerant than say, the average Tea Party type Republican?

We don't know what Romney will do.

What we do know is that if re-elected, Obama wll treat the Constitution like a prison bitch.

If you want the US to become just like any country in Europe, if you want bigger government and loss of freedoms, then vote for Obama.

yes we do know..

Romney is a corporate pirate..

he moves in.. destroys the company..

then makes a profit..

he can't wait to get guaranteed bailouts..

for himself & his cronies in the Oval Office..

its no big mystery..

The Ron Paul guys have been just as worse or worse than the RNC! How do you explain taking over forums, message boards, posting stupid, "all hail Ron Paul videos," and hacking online polls, to make it seem like Ron Paul is beating everyone!!!!

Ron Paul is a politician just as bad as all the rest, I support Romney because I never will align with Ron Paul's or Obama's belief systems. Yeah, Ron Paul supposedly advocates freedom, but I would not want to live in Ron Paul's ideal world. his social policies are way too liberal, thank you very much!

It's funny that the Ron Paul supporters are avoiding this question and iterating their same talking points over and over and over again.

"No Ron Paul supporter ever said that!"
"No Ron Paul supporter will ever vote for Obama!"
"Obama and Romney are the same."
"They will both destroy the country!"

Please spare me the talking points and specifically answer the question!

Those are your beliefs which you are entitled to. The Ron Paul supporters disagree with you. You will not convince anyone to change their vote, so I'm not sure why you keep harping on this over and over. Just accept that Americans have differing opinions and some people place higher priorities on social issues than you do.

I think it is hilarious that the OP is begging the Ron Paul supporters on here to support Romney after months of bashing them and calling them idiots.

Yes yes...I know all you Ron Paul supporters don't like me either...but it turns out I was right about Paul's chances at the nomination...but I have no interest in trying to convince anyone to compromise their values to vote for someone they don't support...I always have and still think that most of you would still vote for Ron Paul as a write in.

But this thread is cute...the OP is funny.

I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything, just how fruitless the attempt at electing Obama is...Especially if you are a Paul supporter. I'm sure even an Obama lover like yourself can see the flaws in that line of thinking!

I dislike both equally.

I'll refrain from voting (first time I haven't voted) because I know Obama will be re-elected.

Screw the RNC. Get a real candidate.

6 pages of posts, 3 stars and flags.......Bah hah hah hah hah hah.
I'm voting Ron Paul. I'm not demoncrat or reflubican. I'm american and I believe in the US Constitution. It made us a world superpower. Now the gov is ignoring it at convenience. I hope I'm not the only 1 to notice the growth of power with them parallels the demise of our economy.

In a better world than our own, people would be choosing between Hillary Clinton and Jon Huntsman.

The Republicans did have an honest mainstream and not-totally-nuts Republican in Huntsman, but they decided that he wasn't nasty enough for their bloodlust I guess.

How can you call yourself Republican and like Obama better than Romney?

Well, I have to imagine within each of the highly polarized parties in the Untied States there are those that actually value honesty and truth above allegience and propaganda?

Try this....

On spending...

Obama spending binge never happened

Commentary: Government outlays rising at slowest pace since 1950s

articles.marketwatch.com...

On Guns...

In 2010, the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence gave the president a report card of seven F’s for his first year in office, including on "standing up the to the gun lobby."

www.politifact.com...

In just one year, Barack Obama has signed into law more repeals of federal gun policies than in President George W. Bush’s eight years in office.

www.bradycenter.org...

Taxes?? There is a reason why old school FISCAL conservatives like Pres. George HW Bush recently asked who the hell is Grover Norquist anyway..

According to the nonprofit Tax Policy Center, Romney's tax proposals would add $900 billion to the deficit in 2015 (or $480 billion if you assume all the Bush tax cuts were going to remain in place anyway).

So Romney's plan is terrible from a deficit-hawk point of view, too. (Romney says he'd make up lost revenue by eliminating tax loopholes, but since he won't specify which ones he'd eliminate, we have to assume that's hot air.)

www.npr.org...

Then add HCR repeal?

CBO warns repealing healthcare would add $230 billion to deficit

thehill.com...

How can you call yourself Republican and like Obama better than Romney?

The more accurate question would be "How can you call yourself Republican and like Romney AT ALL??

I know the answer is deeply rooted in "root for your team" mentality..."Socialisms" "Freedoms" and "Death Panels"...

There aer actually genuine Fiscal Conservatives out there with both the intellectual horsepower and capacity for objectivity rather than simply consuming political propaganda...

Hope that helps?

I haven't heard any republicans say that openly. Certainly never with a democrat in the room. Maybe they realize that Obama seems to be the better man even if he does have more faults than socal?

Obama is a democrat that just spoke at a staunch republican state and he didn't get booed from the stage. Romney is a republican that just went to a staunch republican state, and got booed from the stage. What does that tell you? Obama is the lesser evil it would appear.

Gold has always come from Obama's mouth, so make sure you watch him. That's why Obama has gotten so much flak. He's so good at public speaking and so bad at running the country that all sorts of things are said about him.

I think Romney, if elected would finish the job of killing America.
