the central focus of Christianity is Jesus, through which everything else is filtered (and he just one big love machine)
Christianity today has little to do with Jesus, it's more of a tribal culture than anything else, focused on conformity and hating everything that doesn't conform with it (at least right wing christianity).
Most christians are scared of everything in the word that isn't exactly like them, and so easily swayed to accept war and violence against others.

No, you don't understand. You clearly don't understand. And I know my Book well. You are the one who doesn't know it. Linking a well-known anti-Islam website that posts verses completely out of context and translations at that without the proper understanding of the Arabic terms does not make you an expert on Islam or the Quran.
So I'm done addressing your absolute trash.

Muhammad didn't "slaughter people." He engaged in self-defensive war.

On July 22, 2011 a terror attack rocked Oslo, Norway, killing 76 innocent people. The speculation began from the moment it was reported. Everyone was convinced a Muslim was behind it. Then a suspect was captured. He was both white and Christian.
From that moment forward, in typical Western fashion, people came out of the woodwork trying to distance him from Christianity, even though his words said otherwise. There were even some atheists, for whatever reason, attempting to separate Christianity from this act of obvious terrorism.
This highlights a fundamental hypocrisy that we have seen time and time again in the West.

BULL. No matter what this guy says, Christianity in any form resembling true Christian teachings dopes not promote violence through terrorism.
Why do you take this one guy and his claiming to be a Christian as an authority on Christianity? He's just some guy.. he could be nuts. Even Popes have killed and committed terrorism in the name of Jesus and God, yes, but they were not acting on the teachings of Christianity, only using religion and control of the masses to get away with their sick twisted crimes.
It isn't Christianity that is the problem, It is the abuse of religion and Christianity by anyone who will use any means to an evil end. If you knew what Christianity truly teaches and not this un-biblical dogma then you would know the principles of Christianity is not at fault.
