Why does the Sun's coronal hole often look like a perfect triangle?

Also, love the avatar - have seen that shot before - and as an novice surfer it stuck in my mind. I figure it's got to be a tiger - a little too thin for a great white.

I found some good youtube videos on the subject as well, this one speculates the triangle on the Sun is linked to the multitude of pyraminds that have been found around the world:

I just found a youtube video that clearly shows the Mayans also knew there was a mysterious triangle in the Sun, and from their symbols maybe they thought is was a portal:

You would think this would be worldwide news. Everyone go back to watching Jersey Shore, playing golf and texting the latest gossip - I'm sure this won't affect you at all because if it would I'm positive the government would tell you something.

That's a triangle alright how people can be skeptical that it is a triangle is silly.

And to use pareidolia as a debunking tactic with this is foolish, the op didn't say this was a great pyramid on the sun he said it was a triangle, like it is, anybody who says otherwise clearly didn't pass the 3rd grade.

Wow, you're right the clouds at Saturn's north pole do form a hexagon. However there is no void in this hexagon, it is more explainable in terms of common crystalline atomic arrangements, and the Mayans didn't make pictures of the Hexagon on Saturn's north pole, at least not that I know of. And there hasn't been multiple sightings of unknown objects which some have theorized to be huge ET spaceships near Saturn's north pole as is the case with the Sun.

So I don't think just because this exists:



means that this is also a natural formation:

Thanks for your thoughts. If this does exist, and that seems to be the case, certain agencies are obviously keeping it a secret - and would send their "knowledge management specialists" to forums like this to try and suppress any speculation.
