hey there I've just registered to reply to your comment lol

last week i was planing with friends to go to hunted house actually building and take videos and pictures by day later at night lots of activities goes on there at night , if you're really interested you can come over to Lebanon and have a personal experience, just in case you're interested.

we're not gone be inside but we're gone kind of camp outside of the building we can't get in it's very dangerous, i know the history of this building for how turned to a hunted place.

personally i have close experience with ghosts.

Not professing to know, but the thread got me thinking of one possible way to link science, and ghosts together.

So I have had this crackpot idea for a while that with quantum physics being quite strange by nature, it wasn't a million miles removed from how we view the paranormal.

So I googled for a correlation between the two, don't know how tangible the link is (looks like some random blog posting, but better than nothing), explanantion wise but give it a bash, it might inspire ?

Can Quantum Physics Ultimately Explain the Paranormal ?

I have had a quick skim through, just wanted to add, it isn't my blog (don't have time for that kind of thing), but I find it interesting that I am not alone in thinking along these lines

what i don't get is why we pick and choose what we need evidence of to know it exists. You say you need 110 percent proof of aliens and ghost, witch would mean you would have to see it first hand, as your expressed desire for in the OP. Now let me ask do u believe that outer space exists, as its portrayed in media and books. There are only a handful of people that have actually been to outer space, so by your logic these handful of people are the only ones that know outer space exists, everyone else doesn't have proof because they have never been there. everything we observe from the ground and evidence we gather could be a giant hoax or a hologram, maybe even a digitized projection(all of these highly unlikely of course, but u will never know because you have never been there) right?

Sweet Jesu!! I have strange things happening in my house all the time and have had people tell me to do this. Kudos to you for having the ....you know whats to do it. While I never feel scared by the things in my house, I feel that if something appeared on camera, I would never be able to sleep right again.

To the OP...

I am a firm believer that not everyone can experience what you seek. I think some can search and find it. I feel like some draw things to them. I feel like others are just more aware and have always been able to have experiences with spirits, ghosts, etc.

My point is, is that you may never find what you seek, but you should not give up. A lot of non believers never see anything because they are just cut off from that part of their senses regardless of how bad they wish to see something for proof of it's existence. Open your mind a bit and continue your search. I hope you find what you seek.

I personally have never seen a ghost, but I have seen enough crazy things in my life that I believe people when they tell me they have.

Sup OP, I actually might have some clips (a lot) you'd be interested in. I actually planned on starting a thread about it soon, and it should peak everyone's interest. Pretty much I was working on my senior project at our towns elementary building which is now our towns borough building/police station. Me and my friend( Who's dad is a cop there, that's how we were able to do this) redid the entire network, new router,switches, cable layout, cleaned up there comps, the whole 9 yards. Well apparently this building is haunted ( I'll provide a link to some references). I would occasionally hear some noises, but i'm pretty sure most of it is explainable. Well i'm not a believer in ghosts, but instead of watching fake tv show's or take peoples word for it when they make threads, I like to do my own investigating.

So we talked with the chief of police and got permission and arranged a date, a few of my friends were also coming with expect the person who I did my senior project with didn't want to come with. Well the first thing we did was go on the third floor, because this and the 2nd floor seemed to be where I would hear the most activity while I was working. So I set up a camera pointing towards a ball on the 3rd floor( There were rumors of balls being thrown around mysteriously) with a EMF detector next to it (some ghost hunting team left it behind). So I set the camera to record and we all head down to the second floor opposite side of the building, because I was showing them my wiring job. The camera was up there for about 7 minutes, I ignored the 1st minute because thats when you can hear the last door close from us. Also note this building is made out of concrete, brick and steel so any of us talking would definitely not be heard on camera. That camera picked up some interesting noises, no spikes on the EMF detector, but you can hear this huge gush of wind twice. It wasn't a draft because I made sure to check for drafts and if you load the WAV sound file into audacity it goes from quite, to huge gush of wind sound, back to quite, so if there was a draft you'd expect to see some occasional light spikes. I can send both original video and the extracted sound in a lossless format.

When we returned we walked around the third floor a bit, showed them around so they know where there going, and went from there. I took video with my camera, and audio with my phone, my friends also took audio with their phones and they picked up some really interesting noises that I can't explain nor can my friends. We actually heard a lot of noises the police officers were hearing, noises such as random knocking, fingers rubbing against a metal vent, whispering/talking. I managed to capture all of these sounds too. By far the creepiest part was when we were all walking down the hallway exploring, and all of a sudden we hear this noise, it sounded like a finger rubbing against a vent zipping across the room next to us. We were all freaking out then. We also set up the same ball in the video I was talking about, and set it up in this former class room, put tape lines around it, checked for drafts, and left. When we returned the ball was moved about 2ft over towards the outside wall. While that could be explained, maybe a friend accidently bumped it over or there was infact a draft we missed, it was still creepy.

We actually went twice to this building. That trip wasn't very event full, for some reason it appeared the building was more active near the times 1-3am, the first time we went it was 12-3am, the second it was 11 to 1:30am. There is one clip I can't explain from the second trip, we did the same setup with the ball in the Gym without EMF detector though, and left it go. I reviewed the footage and it was pretty uneventfull but at this one point you can hear the Freezers or something kick on(Former cafeteria/gym for elementary school), but that's not the creepy part, the creepy part is, nobody has access to the gym expect for the officers, well about 5 minutes into the video you can hear one of the doors suddenly open, a random mumbling noise I couldn't make out, then the door slamming. I actually asked the officers about this because I thought maybe they wanted to check up on us but they the one officer who was on duty was out on patrol. Over all there's probably like 2- 2 1/2 hours of audio/video combined. I'm don't have most of the audio clips because i'm at a summer college program, but i'll be returning to my house next friday. I plan on starting a thread with it and showing some of the stuff I captured. I have all the original audio and video that I can upload to my website and let you hear for yourselves.

I also want to add this OP, Check up on haunted areas near you, and do your own investigating, because that's what I'm doing. You're not going to find 110% proof on the internet.

Hey, can they visit you in your dreams? Cuz, I did what you say 2 weeks ago. I just WANTED to know if there are any. I said "Spirit appear I don't care if you are good or evil just APPEAR" a couple of times.

When I was sleeping/dreaming on the same night. I saw 2 beings, one behind me holding my mouth (so I could not shout or for holding down my head???) I COULD FEEL THE HAND!!! The second beside me and he punched/stabbed me in my back and it HURT!!! Woke up and could almost not breath and my body was so heavy could almost not move.

I was alittle scared when I woke up, but damn I felt happy not beacuse it was scary or that it hurt, but because it was something new in my life.

Well, I might be able to give some of my own personal insight into this. I once read a post by nh_ee in a thread a while ago that stuck with me the most and is how I currently believe how ghosts exist. If you have ever seen any sort of ghost hunting investigation, you will notice a lot of their instruments are those based on detecting electromagnetic fields, as well as recording devices that are electromagnetic in principle and function. Remember every person gives off their own electromagnetic field, as well as the entire Earth being encompassed it's own electromagnetic field generated by the motion of molten iron alloys in the Earth's outer core. We have electricity all around us naturally. In our atmosphere that exists as energy but is invisible.

This is by no means evidence of ghosts or of how they exist but just a mere observation. That being said, I believe this personally makes the most sense of how ghosts exist.

When the body can no longer support the soul/essence/spirit/whatever-you-want-to-call-it, the 'soul', comprised of electrical energy simply leaves the worn out body. The 'soul' is simply our consciousness in an biological electromagnetic form and existing in the electromagnetic frequency spectrum. This would be the best way to explain how ghosts are able to transcend the physical world of ours by travelling through walls of structures. Think of the same way how your cellphone or wireless internet works.

Electrons are capable of storing not only charge but also data. This would explain how our soul can exist in an electromagnetic state comprised of energy and data. This is why the ghosts can be detected by EMF detectors and further proof is the ability of ghosts to imprint their voices or thoughts upon electronic recording devices in the form of EVPs.

Cold spots could be explained as being indicative of an energy well, in that something has absorbed the heat energy from the air making that location colder than the rest of the surroundings.

Now of course this all brings up many more questions: How and why does this happen on death? How does one move, see, feel, and interact in it's world? Do they get their energy from the close by surroundings or from another source? Do you live indefinitely as a ghost or do you eventually dissipate? Does this happen to anyone who dies? Can a ghost cease to exist if certain, possibly electrical, events or requirements are meant? These are just a few questions I think of when I try to think of how ghosts exist and work.

Like I said earlier in the post, these are my current beliefs in a "scientific" way to explain how ghosts exist.
