You don't have to agree with something for it to be true. The bible belt evangelicals that make up most of the conservative base are at least 90% racist, that's just the way it is

I don't think it's fair to put a percentage on the number of racists in the bible belt. It's something you cannot possibly back up.

The thing is though, it's common knowledge that bible belt conservatives are inclined to be that way. We just can't put a figure to it. Saying 90% might even be generous of you. Could be 98% for all we know. Could be 40 %?

What we do know is that it is a problem, and pretending that it doesn't exist is only perpetuating it.
