When did a US citizen toss a shoe at Bush? Which US representatives heckled him while he was speaking and when? I honestly believe you are just lying.

This coming from the smug poster who implied I had not read this thread. Boy oh boy, you're a real piece of work.
Read the thread and stop being so willfully ignorant. There are videos showing precisely what neo claimed in this very thread.

I'm so sick of the race card. If we were such a racist nation he would have never been elected. The bottom line is, I believe, in the U.S., we respect talent, wisdom, skill and knowledge regardless of where it comes from. There will always be the idiot who is a flat-out bigot but that's the exception, not the rule.
There is not one video of the crap NEO claimed in this thread.

Guess some people have to be spoon fed on here, and the fact remains which is the point of the topic.
All presidents have been and will continue to be heckled.
Apparently some can't read.

You can hide in a cave all day long, only to come out at night and point to the nighttime sky and declare: "I don't see any sun! Where is this sun you keep talking about?" You can play this silly game until the cows come home, few are impressed with it.

Are you going out of your way to look like you cannot read?
THERE IS NO AMERICAN CITIZEN THROWING SHOES AT BUSH.
So why would you post this video if you could read?

They only person who said that what who?
Go on quote where anyone said it was an American citizen.
Was an American citizen who gave Dana Perino a black eye just out of sheer hatred of Bush

Name the last white president to be heckled by his own congress for me.
Name the last white president that had a show thrown at him from a US citizen.
Pretty funny how far you gotta stretch to pretend to not understand this one. Then again, you can only manage to watch youtube clips instead of actual shows so why would I expect you to have any of the facts.
No "while in office." stated.post by sonnny1 the pic of bush ducking a shoe.
Unprecidented?
President's have been mocked and heckled for decades especially Bush getting booed at the inauguration of Obama, and then we can go back even further.
[...]
Oh yeah Obama ever had a shoe thrown at him?
What bout Carney getting a black eye?
SO Yes a White president gets heckled just like anyone else, and always with the race card.
wishywashy
Not a heckle,but a damn funny picture !!!
In fact, I am even more shocked that NONE of the other panel members was able to challenge the assertion and bring up the fact that, as OP pointed out, it wasn't that long ago that President G.W. Bush had a shoe thrown at him.
I also recall G.W. Bush getting booed during his 2005 State Of The Union Address.
CynicalDrivel
All politicians get heckled.
Hell, some even get glitter thrown on em.
Didn't some dude chuck a shoe at Dubya too?
Of course it was disrespectful. What do you think the point of throwing shoes at people is for? NONE OF THIS is done with respect.
Reagan wasn't president there, and Bush didn't have a shoe thrown at him by an American citizen.
I am not saying that is is racism that motivates people to disrespect Obama (more likely it's him being a #ty president), but It had to be pointed out that you didn't really make a point with those two examples and I would like to see some better/real ones.
I am going to call...not heckling...
I think the problem is the frustration with this 'dictator" who spouts off his illegal actions and literally runs away....he ran away after he said he was bypassing congress and trashing the constitution....I think if I was there i would have threw a shoe at him.
muzzleflash
Well, throwing a shoe is considered one of the worst insults in the Islamic world. But it is a funny pic.
Throwing a shoe isn't heckling however.
It's assault.
neo96
I'll agree that being heckled sucks, but it is what it is and many other Presidents have been heckled... Bush was heckled by people all the time when he was in office, he even had a damn shoe thrown at him...

Those are the facts, like Bush getting a shoe thrown at him and Dana Perino getting a black eye.During a state of the union in congress Bush was heckled and the person escorted out.
Really?
I am going to have to call BS on that.
When did a US citizen toss a shoe at Bush?

This is where you lost it. He stated: "Bush from 2000-2008 and to date."
There was a few links in here that did give specifics. Neo, went generalisation. Then stated: " like Bush getting a shoe thrown at him" You heard "For example: Bush getting a shoe thrown at him." Neo96 more likely meant "Bush's 200-2008 presidency and to date has plenty of heckling, the likes of: Bush getting a shoe thrown at him."
Problem is that both Neo's likely intent (made obvious by his specific latter denials), and your interpretation of his using it as an example is what is meant by you seeing what you want to see out of this.
And everyone does it.
I pointed out that others did link some things in about Bush, before you asked that, so no I did read it, even glanced at their links, to boot.

Apparently you did not read anything you were linking. He said "Busgh from 2000 - 2008 in response to my ASKING HIM TO NAME A WHITE PRESIDENT THAT THESE THINGS HAPPENED TO.
Really didn't deal with the ensuing argument, just wanted to point out that the begining was doomed to failure and why, that's why I quit quoting things from that point. That is all.
He instead showed me videos of OTHER THINGS HAPPENING TO BUSH. So to answer my question with "Bush 2000-2008 was wrong.

But have fun with it.

Thanks to whoever posted a vid I was able to watch. Well the Prez got a bit rattled and indignant. He just knows it's the "right thing to do". Where is the humanist philosophy of whatever you want is what is the thing to do???? Oh wait, that is what the Prez wants so he's going to do it. But it really sounded like a lecture from the pulpit. Maybe he finally let Rev wright write his speech.edit on 16-6-2012 by ThirdEyeofHorus because: (no reason given)
