The ultra Left is really getting desperate.

That cold icy feeling is "oh-so-ever" present now isn't it ?

They can't stand it because as each day passes it seems, Obama or somebody "on his side" makes it more and more apparent that he in fact may be blow'n the election !!

I think Barack & Michelle have Had IT with Washington and with politics.

They can and will make 10x more money on the TV-Book-Lecture circuit for sure.

I just bet that some new books are already at least half written. Due for release Feb 1, 2013.
(rumor has it that Valerie Jarrett is making the "schedules" as we speak !)

Oh yes the left have lost for certain, most tax payers are simply sick of all the excuses, saying that I would never vote for the right either. Something radical is needed in my opinion- I wish I knew what tho...

It was disrespectful. Not unprecedented.

Oh well he got his 15 minutes of fame.

I'm so sick of the race card. If we were such a racist nation he would have never been elected. The bottom line is, I believe, in the U.S., we respect talent, wisdom, skill and knowledge regardless of where it comes from. There will always be the idiot who is a flat-out bigot but that's the exception, not the rule.

If there happens to be a large number of minorities in localized areas who have not done anything to earn anybody's respect, that's just the way the cards fall. I'm not overly fond of white welfare folks milking our system and it has nothing to do with race.

If every a person was given the benefit of the doubt, it was Obama. We truly have never had a less-qualified candidate for president be elected. He spent two years in state Senate then two years in Washington and never even voted other than "present". He had absolutely no track record and ran on an ambiguous tagline of "Hope and Change" and "Yes We Can"...neither of which were ever defined and still haven't been defined to this day. To the contrary, I'd say if we were a racist nation, he wouldn't have even been nominated. In my opinion, he got the Presidential version of Affirmative Action. To put it another way, if he were white, he would probably still be in Chicago working as a community organizer.

I'll agree that being heckled sucks, but it is what it is and many other Presidents have been heckled... Bush was heckled by people all the time when he was in office, he even had a damn shoe thrown at him...

Not only have white Presidents been heckled but some have been portrayed as chimps too.

Of course they would say that. Obama is supposed to be the saviour of humanity, remember?

lol
Our messiah! How DARE someone heckle him! It must be because of his skin color! That's the ONLY valid explanation!

You're a racist if you disagree with Prince Obama bin Laden. Even if you're the same race as him!

In fact, I am a homophobic, racist, politically incorrect American. I suspect a lot of people are just like me. In the last few years, if you disagree with these anti American terrorists you are labeled as such. Just call me Archie Bunker or George Jefferson. I could care less and I sleep well.

I don't believe in all of that stuff really so much. It's all irrelevant to the bigger picture of the human race and our destiny.
A local American is more liable to kill me than a foreign national. But that's beside the point, Nationalism is just a made up idea in the end. However the rights of a human being are eternal. Nationalistic fervor convinces us to justify suspending the rights of others to exact punishment for alleged crimes (on a global scale). You cannot suspend rights for any reason, you can only legally work within them to exact a legal punishment to uphold justice.

Anti-American terrorists is also a label for the opposition pretending to oppose the aforementioned pretend idea. So both sides are pretend fantasies in a philosophical sense, endlessly conflicting over disagreements in how the fantasy system is suppose to be fantasized as.

I kinda strive to judge all people equally as per common sense and physics. You know, just think about it a little bit. You spend all day worrying about some Jihadist, and bam, some local thug off the street shoots you for your wallet. Hey it happens.

I guess the point isn't to really fear anything since death is inevitable. Of course exercise caution but be reasonable and try to avoid injury when it's seemingly possible.

Spending too much time worrying about fantasy based simplistic groupings of entities that probably can't even actually cause you any harm isn't too healthy.

You could abandon half of your ideology for a more merciful and lawful approach, while keeping the other half of which is obviously already merciful and lawful.

And when I say merciful I mean be merciful to the truth please. The truth you know deep inside.

Don't let your shallow hatreds and prejudice blind you to simple rationality.
You are just allowing yourself to chemically damage yourself with angst.

From now on let's just stop ourselves when we think we get angry and hateful towards someone we scorn spitefully.
Let's ask ourselves this simple question:
"Do I actually hate this person? Or do I just hate the idea/action they are propagating?"

And if you realize the inner truth that you just hate their idea/action, and realize that had they not committed it you wouldn't have hated at all, than you will realize the folly of our uncontrolled fury as a human being.

The real cure to our ailments is proper education and improving our knowledge and other's knowledge around us.
We are being manipulated to falsely hate each other over fictitious or highly exaggerated /hyped memes.

It's time to dispel this enchantment we have all fallen under. Wake up to the real world where we have to be actual adults and respect the rights of other human beings fully. We have to accept responsibility for our actions.

It's real simple. I realize the odds are a bit questionable sometimes it seems, I mean people seem so brainwashed and so misled, even to the brainwashed and misled. Fact is, any human with a biologically operational and mostly functional brain, can figure out the facts for themselves. It's not really that hard if you can put your personal beliefs and convictions aside for just a minute.

The most fascinating thing about this entire thread is seeing peoples response to a person verbally protesting.

Land of the Free, Home of the Brave... but if you dare to interrupt our dear and great leader you are disrespectful!

So what, Obama got interrupted. He's JUST A F'ING MAN, NOT A GOD!

I admit I have at times hated most all politicians, but really when I think about it, I like human beings overall. I believe that if I met any of these people in real life, and they had set aside their prejudices and I set aside my own, no matter who they were, Kissinger, Bush, Obama, the Pope, whichever human you pick, that I would treat them fairly and friendly unless provoked unfairly I suppose. Like anyone else I meet in real life.

I would respect their rights as a human being, and I would indeed be somewhat cordial in my manner, but I would still question and argue with them over whatever random topics we may discuss. But I will also agree and support them on other aspects of random topics. I would try to help them with any insights I may posses.

Most people will misinterpret my notion of helping "them". Do not misunderstand please.
I help human beings. Discrimination on arbitrary grounds is not legitimate.
If I think their policy or idea leads to harming people, I will protest it and suggest alternatives that can mitigate the damages. That's what I call "helping everyone".

That's the best I, or anyone else can do. Share what we know so that we can all uplift ourselves into higher living standards and a more civilized existence.

In a way they do view him as a sort of god, much like the romans and other dictatorshiips from history,
They put halos on him, bow to him, make murals of him, call him "the one", infallible etc.
I wonder if they made statues yet

It really looks like a cult from the outside. Even people from other countries worship him and women voted for him because they find him attractive.
It's like having sex with someone who is robbing your house in the middle of the night. Stockholm syndrome/?

Ah, so hecklers get to express themselves, even at the cost of Obama's right to express himself?
I am not sure you know how this works.
If you interrupt me, you are stepping on my expression and you have no right to do that. If you want to talk, go somewhere I am not already talking and do it. Otherwise it becomes an argument over who's expression is more valuable and I thought all Americans were concerned about free expression.

You are conflating etiquette with the right to free speech. Obama's right to express himself was not disparaged by a heckler, any more than someone interrupting you is an infringement of your right to expression. Imprisoning or fining someone for speaking is an infringement of speech. Gagging someone so that they cannot speak is an infringement of speech. Interrupting a pedant - whether that be you or Obama - is simply a matter of taste.

Yeah if I had been the one to make that mistake you would have a really great point. Unfortunately I actually understand what free speech means. Perhaps you need to stop just reading my posts and read the threads. You can point out your snarky little tidbit to all the people crying about this man's free speech.

Bush from 2000-2008 and to date.

Those are the facts, like Bush getting a shoe thrown at him and Dana Perino getting a black eye.During a state of the union in congress Bush was heckled and the person escorted out.

Really?
I am going to have to call BS on that.
When did a US citizen toss a shoe at Bush?
Which US representatives heckled him while he was speaking and when?

I honestly believe you are just lying.

If you were paying attention when you read this thread you would see that I was not the one making the comparison you think you are correcting. I WAS RESPONDING TO IT.
I cannot write this in any more simple language.
