seriously
"hate" is a trick we always use it ( paraphrase of Israeli cabinet member )

So,whats worse?
Killing and displacing millions and destroying thier countries
and no Osama and no WMDs

or pointing it out?

I guess one could ignore the truthers till one wakes up in a fema camp with a droning sound in ones ears
now truthers hate that...
on the other hand:
some are just begging to feel the love

Little over a decade ago I went to England. I absolutely loved it, I loved it so much I went back a second time. Very lovely country that England. Poor dental care, but lovely country.

But, people love trashing on other countries, it's kinda a human tradition. Like saying that all Russians are drunk off their behinds on Vodka, or that the Irish are drunk off their behinds on anything they can get hold of, or (my favorite) that every Australian is constantly running away from some uber deadly critter trying to kill them in a land where it appears evolution decided to have an arms race.

Don't let it get you down man, England is a great country.

Now Canada on the other hand... j/k

They are a justified needed balance.

There's a particular influential majority group here, who all post and support each other in many threads.

They all get near massive and nearly instant stars for posts with no substance and a hidden mix of mock/joke/belittle.

And they post in a way that they know can avoid moderators actioning their posts.

There's a certain rule from T&C that mentions forum Gangs. That is the most abused and unenforced rule on whole of ATS.

U.S. and British imperialism certainly deserves criticism. The U.S. has accounted for tens of invasions of sovereign countries, and has murdered millions of people in the last 60 years. I have no idea why anyone would be surprised about well deserved criticism of nations like the U.S., Britain, and Israel?

They are just being big babies. Darn right it is well deserved criticism, but most people live in this little cinderella dream world that all this murder and mahem going on in the world has nothing to do with them and then they whine and want to notify the CIA and DHS (and ATS Mods) because people in the world don't like fearing for their lives just because they refuse to bow down and worship Emrika.

And I am no troll, but all this whining because people are criticising your country should stop because its ridiculous. No one sees me throwing a hissy fit when people criticise something I support.

He has an agenda, to wake people up about whats going on in the world and also an avid supporter of communism. Should he be banned because his veiws are in opposition to yours?

I do not agree with him but neither would I support banning him for his views.

Yes, for me the last 10 years has disclosed a nightmare of U.S. imperialism, shocking mass murder, and endless torture by this government. It's heartbreaking.

get over it...the world is a nasty place with lots of agendas...always has been...look at old empires and realize how much restraint the US has shown....surely Hitler and Stalin would not have held back the way the US has..............we've done wrong, I'll admit that and hate my gobment....but damn.....could be wayyy worse

could also be wayyy way better. So get over your dismay at any form of criticism. Time for everyone to grow up, if you can't take the heat stay out of the debate forums. I mean for real, just because your not over there impaling people yet doesn't mean we cannot discuss displeasure in what IS happening!

'It could be worse', is about the most thoughtless thing one could say about the horror the U.S. has inflicted upon countries like Vietnam and Iraq. It is not something to say to people who have had their families slaughtered for no good reason.

I'm baffled but I'm seeing some members trolling hard about how usa or britain sucks.

When people continue to ignore the obvious, people will continue to point it out.

Stop whining. Everyone here has done it at least once. And it isn't only the USA and British hate. I think you're leaving out Australia. The amount of times Australia has been criticized and Australian members bashed is insane.

Dear Mods:

I have an opinion that the OP doesn't like so that means I should be banned.

Thanks!

It must be said that I've only ever seen "Stop with the Anti-US threads" only being posted by inhabitants of said country. I don't think I have ever seen a "Stop with the Anti-UK/Aussie/Canadian/Equatorial Guinea/etc threads" posted on ATS in the 4+ years I have been a member.

Methinks certain people are a little too sensitive about their country. Why this doesn't ring warning bells for them I do not know.

I agree. I didn't know if I agreed, and was forced to look up a word, and I am a little bit pissed about learning, but there you go. I find a certain someone to be a bit hostile towards my country, but that's OK. It happens. He probably contracted drop bear madness recently. It's a real problem. Bono is going to do a benefit concert for the drop bear survivors in the near future. I read about it on angryroo.com, really a phenomenal site. Love the slogan; 'Deny Sobriety'.

Also, LOL, angryroo.com exists. I know because of my Google machine.
