Murder rates from civilian on civilian violence have nothing to do with a government crackdown, that is why it's not mentioned. The truth is that chicago has a murder rate of 16:100,000. Syria so far has a Govt. murder rate of 69:100,000. Not quite the same now is it? If you want a real comparison this is it.

Syria has a population of 20,446,609. The estimate is that the Govt. has killed over 14,000 civilians. This is the equivalent of the US Govt. killing 213,355 US citizens. Think that would make front page news? Would that enrage you enough to say this Govt. has GOT to go?

not sure , if it maters , but without having read the thread , and looking into the situation to much , i thought russia said it was not going to get involved ?

but , i came across this news peace , and i will say that this news site has been very accurate , producing twist free news , and reporting issues that russia tried to keep out of the lime light , but anyway , what do you think pro ?

Russias not intervening the very same way that the US and others are not intervening,

The use of proxy militias and mercenries is well known and documented...the main benefit being that governments supporting these groups can always turn around and say "it wasnt us", or "they have no links to us"...whilst covertly supporting them and supplying arms.

Whole situation is one big lie from every angle......and governments and the news networks should all be hung for knowingly reporting lies to the public.

From my understanding is that Russia is not allowing NATO foreign intervention. They already have their own naval base there, and are interfering to protect their own assets from being taken over in the hands of the rebel terrorists.

The rebels are doing stupid things by targetting russians.Russians could send a few cruise missiles into their safe zones in Turkey,Jordan and if these nations try something stupid then they will cease to exist in 15 minutes.

Actually it's equal to 213,000, I fixed my post, I'm at work somehow my math ended up terribly off. My point still stands though.

I mean it seems to be contradicting your claims. So which is it? Was it wrong when it reported the papers? Was it wrong when it quoted the Syrian opposition?
