I am really not as disenchanted over everything in these lyrics with the exception of when they talk about F all these specific types of people. I am in the entertainment business and have seen these types Fret over this and that as well as the part of Hip Gangster Wanna Bees.

I see nothing HIP or COOL about acting violent or pretending to be so. This comes from a person who has been Trained to perform Extreme Acts of Violence but never once did I ever find it a GOOD THING. When I see KIDS acting like their Favorite Gangster Hip Hop or Rapper Musician...it PISSES ME OFF!

Great post. I loved every word. I do not listen to rap, but everyone does not resonate the same. I do not expect the world to listen to obscure blues tunes or classic rock. I have to wonder though how is it that the rap artists seem to all clue in on this subject. Perhaps they really do know something that the rest of us are clueless about.

The Bull S#!% has become so deep that some cannot see anything else. I am a peaceful person who is the Real Deal Trained Nightmare. Yet...I would NEVER expose KIDS to this reality. What is even worse is the Producers and Studios that allow this sort of irresponsible crap to be made public all for the sake of cash. And to be clear...I am not talking about the song you posted.

I work with Military people of all Colors and Religions and Backgrounds....and they also have opinions similar to mine. What I get upset about is this stupid Artist vs. Artist Battle over Bull S#!%! I once was in a Club...not of my own choosing...where a scuffle broke out between one Artists Crew and Another. Guns were pulled out...and I had to laugh as these Guns were held sideways! LOL!

In my eyes...I was seeing a bunch of CHILDREN on a PLAYGROUND fighting over who gets to use the swing set. I was with ONE member of my team as he lives near the area and is Black and wanted me to check out this club where some interesting Fusion Hip Hop was being created on site. He knew that I would appreciate hearing something new. I remember him getting SO ANGRY and I talked him out of doing something about what was going on as I knew if he was in...I was also going to go in....and we are not supposed to attract that type of attention.

This I can tell you...although there were at least 12 of them...the two of us would have put them all down so fast that they would never have known what happened. This is the difference between someone who can buy a GUN and two people who are trained how to take those Guns away. Since I am White...he was embarrassed. But I let him know...there are alot of White ASS #@LES out there too so don't worry.

If you read my previous post...I stated that my reply was not directed at the video...or the lyrics but I am directing it at the concept of the GANGSTA RAPPER OR HIP HOP VIOLENCE based on stupidity as well as some originally made up for Fan Hype and Interest that Morphed into arguements over Money.

I have been Touring on an International Level for Decades. I know the industry as well as know that there is good and bad in every aspect of people. What I do not like is an Artist buying a GUN as well as creating an Aura of BADASS around him or herself which inevitably leads to inter Artist Violence.

The concept of a Protection Crew....and I have one myself but they are instructed not to hurt anyone but they keep me safe from the Nuts...should not include the Crew to be fully armed. Only one or Two people should be of this nature and we hire ex-Military.

I am "CIVILIAN" that on occasion because my extensive travel allows me access to countries where other people would be questioned...and I am older now and coming to the end of it....find it ABSURD to advocate being Gangster as part of the Music. I know this is a real moneymaking form...but I don't like the concept.

Plus...at that club...I had to laugh as everyone who had a Gun is 100 lbs overweight as well as being SCARED S#!%less as they cowered behind others as they pulled out Guns and Holding them sideways! LOL! These guy's couldn't hit the side of a Barn Door! You could tell none of them wanted to be put in this position...but when a bunch of guy's react...their EGO's sometimes don't allow them to think!

If I had been the target along with my Team Member...they would all be Dead Men. That simple. These guy's had NO TRAINING other than they may or may not have known where the safety was. This is why I am saying...FOR WHAT? WHY BE VIOLENT? No matter how bad a person thinks they are...there are others out there that do this for a living or do it because they are called upon. I am glad you see what and where I was coming from. Your Lyrical style...are you using a basic 4/4 or do you write vocal melody and timing on the up or down beat?

My Band of which I have been in Studio for too long as although that is bad...it is good from the sense I was reunited with my old Drummer who is one of the top 10 worldwide. I have toured with Aerosmith, Heart, Robin Trower, Motley Crew, Staind and more than I can remember. I played OZZFEST and I have only one person who I have ever got into it with and that is the original singer of Rage Against the Machine...Zack de la Rocha.

He riled up an audience at a large outdoor venue a friend of mine owns and caused the audience to create close to a Million Dollars in Damage. I confronted him after he got off stage as we were playing two spots after Rage and told him there was no need to do what he did and it was dangerous. He got pissed off and started in on me in a violent tone. I am 6 ft. 1 In. and am all muscle as well as Trained and I tried to calm him down and tried to TALK to him. He just went all Ghetto with me and said...LET'S GO!

Let me be clear...this would be a BIG MISTAKE for him to do and I could tell it was his moth doing the threatening and not his brain. When someone acts like this to me...unless they start swinging...I do not allow words to influence my actions. One of his road crew who knew me to an extent...smartly grabbed Zack and escorted him back into the Food room as Zack was in enough trouble as it was and ended up being banned from this venue.

My point is...I will not allow myself to hurt someone over words...and nowdays...some people shoot at each other over even less things. Later as he was being escorted out of the venue by Police...he saw me and Yelled a parting shot...I let it go as I knew there was nothing to gain by Beating him senseless.
