Obama to Graduates: Don’t Believe the Media

What a perfect thread that supports my own thread. I made the point that lies, exaggerations, and sensationalism rule the media outlets, and that includes this one here. It is here to stay, too. Nothing you can do about it. Why? People are addicted to excitement, which the news outlets give them.

The side effect is that news which is true or newswothy but not something that would capture attention is overlooked and ignored. Who cares? It isn't exciting. Next!

It's a basic truth that people who claim to be looking for "information" are looking for an excitement fix. "Please let the world end soon, or there be war." Who doesn't click on those threads?

Sad...

It really is noteworthy how you are unable to stick to the topic in your own thread.

Again, what exactly is your contention with Obama's statements about the media?

Offtopic God.

Doesn't matter the thread always comes an asinine question.

The issue is Obama has zero problems with the media when they cheerleaded for him and put him in that oval office and now 3 and half years later nevermind don't listen to them

Get it?

What I get is that you would probably object to Obama saying anything, even if you actually agree with it.

Which is fine. It's just so...obvious.
