New object near the sun. Video is up. It's coming out of the sun. Zoomed in better.

The first object is what we are looking at, abouve the bright object but in the middle. Trying to get zoomed in video of it. Brb

if you notice at the 30 second mark you also see an object Ill say gravitate towards the sun in the bottom left and coner which appears to go behind the sun, cool stuff

That was a sundiver comet. It evaporated before it reached the Sun.

There are different types of cosmic rays.

Better get in touch with these guys then and tell them how wrong they are.

Cosmic-ray muons make recognizable straight tracks in the new-generation CCD's with thick sensitive regions. Wandering tracks (\worms"), which we identify with multiply-scattered low-energy electrons, are readily recognized as different from the muon tracks.

The SOHO CCD detectors receive many 'cosmic ray' particle hits, occasionally have 'bleeding' of charge for the brightest intensities (e.g. EIT flares and LASCO planets) and there must be some degradation due to protons causing damage to the silicon lattice (this creates 'traps' that can steal charge which can be transferred to other parts of the image).

The thing that ticks me off..is the fact that people who have no clue as to what they are looking at because of their lack of education, making stupid threads claiming alien spacecraft around or coming out of the sun on SOHO images. When it always has other mundane explanations and it takes people like Phage or other people who are more qualified to answer what it was.


When confronted with the real answer (with data to back it up) the OP's of these threads deny it and never offer their own data to refute.

People if you have no idea what you are looking find out first before making stupid threads...

Well now I'm a surprised, Japan can make a Satellite that can withstand the Sun, but most their products fall apart within a month of buying them. Go figure. How did they get so advanced?

What does your post have to do with the thread?

The Chinese satellite transited the Sun on May 11, not May 14th.
Besides, SOHO is about a million miles from Earth, it would not capture any Earth satellites.

Then the damage would never go away. Not many self healing silicon CCD chips....

How about we look at the so called cosmic rays. Can we go back to the archive begining and see them all along?
