Fire is the Sun unwinding from the tree's log. —Fuller, p.62 Human history has been shaped by the continual growth and success of greed. City-states were the first institutions to make organised use of extortion (p. 68). This was then followed by the growth of international trade, which appropriates the wealth of the planet for its own ends. Corruption in the form of "lawyer-capitalism" has led the U.S.A. to become effectively bankrupt (p. 114). Government subsidies given to corporations amount to socialism (p. 101). Eventually the U.S. taxpayers will be asked to make "free-of-risk" bail-outs of "private" enterprises —Fuller, p.87

Get rid of government and everything will be open to all. Food, shelter, clothing, care, water, etc. We are told there isn't enough resources, not enough land blah blah blah but the fact of the matter is that there's so much out there that can be shared with everyone.
Seriously, learn about what is actually on the land around you or what could be. LOL you think the system we have now is "highly" successful? I'm sure those people in Africa would love to let you know how the system really operates. Ultimately, you have not lived in a time with no government so you can't say life without it would be worse. Life surely wasn't meant for governments to rule the lower classes, you should know that.
The Strategy was first elucidated in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation magazine by a pair of radical socialist Columbia University professors, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. David Horowitz summarizes it as:
The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

They provide a life of unbelievable luxury and ease for the rulers and a life of poverty and toil for everyone else. The way rulers benefit from the success of the society is vastly different from the way the masses benefit, and the pyramids and the temples testify to the importance of the rulers, not to the masses who build them. And so it goes, through every phase of life in a hierarchal society."
- Daniel Quinn, Beyond Civilization
Would you replace that with a system of anarchy incapable of providing even basic needs at a level eqaul to the task of feeding and protecting us? Anarchy is the survival of the fitest and if you think Capitalism is bad, take an honest look at what anarchy truly leads too.
No need to yell

Wow, relax. I flagged and starred your thread and I said nothing against your post in the above. I was interested in what you would replace the system as it is now with exactly, which is an extension of the conversation you started.
Capitalism actually does work well for those motivated enough to try and participate. It only works against those unwilling. Your clearly saying more than just they won't let you grow Hemp
You can however learn on your own. Schools are just to teach you how to learn; as mature adults schools are no longer necessary and we are all free to learn anything we wish now. Here in the US there exists places where people can and do live off the land legally, including here where subsistence living is often practiced. You have that freedom right now.
You bring up the idea of meeting your own needs if their were no intervention, but your failing to see that, that lifestyle is labor intensive. Being raised around farms and ranches I know that that life requires sunrise to sunset labor to survive and no holidays, weekends off or retreats unless you dump your work off on others. What you suggest leads to longer working hours for less, which is fine if that is your lifestyle choice. You want a short workweek, the only avenue that leads to that is making more money per hour and only a Free system like ours allows for that.

This is more like the most obvious conspiracy ever. Obvious to anyone who takes a couple of moments to look closely. It shouldn't have taken you years on ATS to work this much out. I have no idea why this thread received so many flags, this exact same topic has been posted about countless times.
