Ok can anyone define "hypocrite" to me? Honestly, I pay 36% of my wages in taxes...how much did our President pay? According to this article he paid 20.5%! Ok now will someone here tell me how we can respect a man who hates the rich, though he's rich himself, then tells the rich to pay more while he pays less than those of us who are of the 99%! When will those who see this man as some kind of a god come to their senses?
He is a liar just as those before him who occupied the oval office were liars. He is no different, except in one way...he desires to get into our business, our health care, our school loans, our home loans, our car loans, remember cash for clunkers? He embraces the ideology of a government that administrates every facet of our lives...and you "hope and changers" are still following the siren song of this man.
I can only hope those who are sleeping wake up, those who have put their heads into the sand will pull them out and breath fresh air and come to their senses.
We have a chance to vote this man out this fall, and I do believe Obama will go down into history as this nation's worst president.

Don't be obtuse. He could at least show that he believes in the "virtue" of his position. He doesn't believe, he is a hypocrite.

Right...because if Obama voluntarily paid 30% all would be well.
The point is that the laws need to change so all wealthy pay more...bottom line.

pressured to release a return, mittens files for an extension
this is my point
there is no extension on the federal budget mittens
this guy is a car wreck
About 10 million of the 140 million annual tax filers request such an extension, according to IRS data. Romney announced the extension on the same day that President Obama released his tax returns.
there is no extension on the federal budget mittens

Got ignored the first time, so ill ask it again:
How can people possibly be mad at obama for Bush's tax cuts?

Why didn't he lead by example and pay the higher rate he wants so badly? He is a hypocrite, that's why. He isn't alone though; almost all politicians are hypocrites.

Apparently, some people think he should lead by example. I tend to agree with them. If this issue is SO important to the left, they should put their money where their mouths are and pay their higher proposed rates voluntarily. But its always 'do as I say, not as I do' with the left, and their followers are perfectly happy with that, apparently.
But let me give you another example on another topic:
If this were a Republican president who was publicly anti-abortion, and we'd found out during his campaign that he and his wife had actually decided to have an abortion 15 years ago, the same people defending Obama would be going crazy about it. You see people around here all the time making the argument that Republicans should be held to higher standards on moral issues because of their stances. Shouldn't the same be true of Democrats? Guess not.

Yes, I just got the money back at the end of the year. Something that seems to leave people here a little dumbfounded, that if you overpay your taxes the government will actually give it back.
So even if Obama had given more, the government would've said, 'You paid too much, have it back.'

so in the end, you are mad at obama because bush made tax cuts, obama is working to set them straight, and paid his taxes based on the current system? You are mad because obama didnt volunteer to pay more taxes? Has ANY american EVER done that?

I'm not mad about it at all. Actually, I find it a bit amusing. Poor, poor Obama. How could he ever be expected to lead by example on this issue? Its not like his own Treasury Department has a website set up to accept donations even if he wanted. Oh wait, they actually do!

And yet you fail to even touch on the fact that they are bush's cuts. Again, I ask, how is this grounds to be upset with obama? Because he didnt VOLUNTEER to pay more?
