I've been reading this forum for a few months now, and decided to finally become a part of it.
I'm not trying to spam, I want to say hello to everyone and now I won't just spend hours reading, I'll spend hours posting on threads as well
In Ontario (as far as i know) there is a contest for a "race to space" and a reader of their newspaper will be selected to go into space for I believe is 3 days, and was wondering also if there is an appropriate section in the forums where I could share the application link with everyone that would be interested in giving me a vote and helping me win
So, back to topic, an honor to finally be a part of the community on here

An introduction post is not spam unless you try to sell us a book, a theory or post pages and pages of info. (It does happen, the latter sometimes well-meant though )

Welcome to ATS, the razzlest most dazzlest forum for conspiracy theorists around. Ooh Ontario eh? I hear they have mosquitoes there. Nasty little beasties I personally have an allergic reaction to. You have my sympathies. (One bite from the little bleeders makes me swell up like...well, let's just say it's not pretty)

You need to have 20 posts (to any thread/post) before you can start your own topic but that took me less than a day. There is so much happening here.

thank you for the warm welcome so far i appreciate it can't wait for the 20 post milestone and i agree that will take no time at all seeing as how I've been on here constantly for the past few months

also, ive seen the option "flag" on the this thread and sometimes see people saying "flagged" as a reply in some threads. what is that option, exactly ?

the more flags a thread has the longer it stays up, i always flag the important stories that i think more people have to read. stars dont really mean anything other then..people agreeing with you

also i think the top flagged threads make their way to facebook and other social networks, i could be wrong though

For now you can reply to any thread in any forum you wish. Once you have achieved the minimum of 20 post replies, you will be able to create your own threads in their appropriate areas & additionally be able to send and receive messages to fellow ATS members. Private Messages can be sent to Staff only, (but after the 20 post minimum, you'll have full access).

Be sure to try out our Ask ATS with the "search words" of your choice. I'm sure you will find many threads to pick from to add your thoughts and opinions too. We encourage everyone to please contribute to existing threads rather than start a new one. This will also help guarantee that your thread won't end up as a duplicate located elsewhere. The ATS Search feature is your friend!
