The outrage doesn't exist because as long as it's not affecting everyone, it's okay with the public, until it happens to them. We all stand there and watch thinking, "glad that's not me!"

True.

Except sometimes I think, "I wish that would happen to me." I don't really wish it, because I don't want to see anyone I love suffering, but without something happening directly to me, I can't justify intervening, and sometimes I know the situation would have gone way differently if I were involved, and I hate seeing victims just be victims.

So, it is a bit of a paradox. I hate to wish for trouble, but then again I hate to see trouble happening to other people that refuse to stand up for themselves.

I suppose there is a victimology associated with it as well. Perhaps the reason certain things don't happen to people like me, is because we would never stand for it, so instead it happens to those people that will let it slide?

Wow, thank you for the layout gra, and it is kind of hard to swallow, but yea, why not more protest? Unfortunately, even with evidence, many of these subjects, when brought up, are scoffed at as fringe conspiracy theories, un worthy of any personal investigation.

What gets me, is how can people claim, as in the 911 stuff, "the gov wouldn't /couldn't ever do such a thing.
Many of the things you listed are from the near and distant past. I wonder what all is occurring now that is unknown, for the time being.

The box you mention, well I think the interwebz is breaking down some walls of the box, and people are slowly being exposed to the truth. This stuff is easy for us at ATS to recognize and call out, but the masses are still too distracted, conditioned or enslaved to economic servitude to notice and/or follow up and discover truth.

Again thanks for your work on this.

When I say the crimes governments have committed people usually reply with "We all know the gov does messed up stuff".

I think you hit it on the head, it's the old "divide and conquer" thing. Sad that it seems to work every time. Unless we all suffer together, like Ethiopian people starving together back in the 80's to give an extreme example...we will never unite as the human race, one people, under the Sun.

Ever since joining ATS I have often wondered about that same thought! Hopefully that's just paranoia as a result of reading too much of this stuff, I think I'm far too little of a fish to warrant any special attention.

shocking, the people in charge of the most powerful and destructive army ever assembled on earth, aren't held acccountable, even after they leave office.

case in point. henry kissinger, still pulling the strings and with an open invitation to the oval office.

he walks in and out of the white house like it's the 70's.

point is, america is a civilized form of dictatorship. they take turns occupying the white house, because they finally learned and history has shown, that one person holding office until he's killed by the opposition is neither profitable nor healthy.

I posted in another thread about how I grew up around conspiracy theories but never really took them seriously. In all those years growing up, the one, singular, most evil name ever mentioned was...... Kissinger! As far as my Dad is concerned, Kissinger is the anti-Christ, and he will eventually reveal himself. It seemed silly back then, and it is still a little silly today, except for the fact that Kissinger was already old back then, and here 40 years later he is still a familiar name, and he still has unlimited access not just in the US, but worldwide! He walks in and out of the Whitehouse, the UN, the Greek banks, and anywhere else he wants to go! Maybe Dad was right all along.

Killing off the little fish gives the big fish nothing to eat so then they will start to prey on each other.

Here's an example of how it's to late for us, we are all in the Rabbit Hole.

Lets say someone has written an OP about a Whistleblower and the information he has released.

What is the Number 1 Response to the OP?

"That guy isn't going to be alive for very long."

THINK ABOUT IT

We all know what could happen to the Whistleblower, and we've accepted that that is the way it is.

No protest, no outrage, no shock.

We have passed the point of moral outrage.

Say hello to Alice , she's in the Rabbit Hole too.

You're exactly right!

That is always the first response, and when something does happen, nobody bats an eye. We all fully expect it to happen, and so there is no shock or awe, just...... meh.

That, in and of itself, is a shame! Shame on us for accepting such abuse and barely noticing.

This part of the desensitization is not all government's fault though. Organized crime, and gangs, and all kinds of groups have the mentality that whisteblowers (aka snitches/rats) will end up dead. So, I suppose we can't pin all of that blame on the governments.

Thanks for the great post! I read this while finishing up my work shift... Im keeping it bookmarked to have all those links handy... Awesome

Yeah I agree about the last few comments... We have come to accept this stuff for far too long...

I say enough of the violence and nonsense... revert back to the true constitution and bill of rights...

Seriously what has happened to this country over the last 250ish years? Conformity is a B@@@@...

Everybody is feeling the grip of the machine, they know if they step out of line they will fall victim in some way or another, so they just stay narrow minded and only looking forward, not questioning authority...

Orwellian is a good word to describe it really...

A POS crackhead gets beat down by a bunch of cops in '92, and riots spread across the nation. Conversely, so many people are aware of the erosion of our rights and blatant abuse by our government, and NOTHING is being done about it! Perhaps it's that most people refuse to see the truth right in front of them like the professor talked about in the OP. What about those of us who are able to understand what is going on? Why do we just sit around and complain on the internet, but do essentially nothing to bring those to justice who would commit such high crimes and prevent them from doing so to our successors.

C'mon people, we could at least do this:

Targeting the people who are responsible for such atrocities would be far better though:

You are mistaken...the riots did not occur because " a crackhead got beat down". The riot happened because the cops who were caught on tape viciously beating a helpless human being were acquitted of those crimes.

Thanks for putting in the work OP, good job...sometimes it is just more comfortable to believe that the powers that be are benevolent...I guess it is a way for some people to be able to sleep at night. I am a night owl : )

Peace

The TRUTH is stranger then fiction, as I have said before all my dreads, nightmares and fears have transcended in to reality. Absolute horror is absolute! The horrific part is not the tyrannical government itself but the all too cooperative populace becoming accomplice to atrocities against it's own playing in to partisan media brainwashing and even sabotaging the future of their own children as well. The audacity of the PTB is telling in that they are perverse and indifferent of all humanity. Devoid of all emotion, love empathy besides hate and disgust for their human counterparts subject to unimaginable terrors.

I can no longer fathom thinking these Monsters are human at all, there is an ancient evil at play and it ain't man.If the devil isn't real then ill be damned.

Damned anyway you slice it

The "Progressive" utopian mindset can justify all sorts of things "for the greater good".

It infects all Parties: Democrat, Republican, Socialist, Communist, and National Socialist. The Nazis get the bad rap for it, but they aren't the only ones, by any means. Spotting those who are infected is pretty easy, once you know what to listen for.

We have failed as a species, we have failed humanity. And we deserve whatever is comming to us. As the masons love to say, Audicity, always audacity! Its okay earth, the virus that is the human race is now starting to devour itself. Its the least we could do. Honestly.

Most of this information has been discussed in various threads on ATS over the years, but still good to to see it well laid out the way the OP has done.

It's because of all this information like this that I've read over the years, that convinces me to question/doubt those in power, and is the main reason I entertain the possibilities of CHEMTRAILS and HAARP, even though there are always a certain tag-team of ATS members that always pounce on mention of those words in a thread, with a bunch of disinfo.

Anything is possible and I don't really want to wait until the 'TOP SECRET' files are released to the public 20 years from now, to learn that they've been spraying some nasty chemical on me, or causing earthquakes and or storms!

Sometimes I think that people in their old age or with "natural" terminal illnesses are the lucky ones. It kind of makes me sick thinking about what I could potentially see in my lifetime.

The sad truth, like another poster said, is that people are selfish and could care less what happens to any other innocent person not immediately in front of them. Maybe one day enough people will grow a pair to actually do something about this, until then I'm not sure if anything can even be done. If people truly are this indifferent to such atrocity, we just have to wait and let history teach us the same lesson over and over again until we finally get it. No one person will accomplish anything.

People are held in a cell for their entire lives (which I consider a form of torture), because of imaginary lines that don't actually exist and crimes that don't have any victim. People are beaten, killed, raped and subjected to all different manners of abuse solely because of psychopathic thoughts in another persons mind, be it religious or mental illness. People are ripped away from their loved ones, battered, downtrodden, hurt, tortured and slaughtered for no better reason than someone's ego. If you could feel the pain of these people as if it was your own, you would probably have a seizure and be insane for the rest of your life. The anguish caused by governments is no more than a step up from anguish caused by an individual, it all comes from the same place: human nature.

So the next time you think about doing something out of spite, greed or hatred, the next time you get mad or decide to "mean mug" or belittle someone, stop for a second and know where that path leads. With everything you do you create the future world for our children to live in.
