47 very small earthquakes in Southern California in the past 24 hours.
earthquake.usgs.gov...
nothing really large, but do this many mean that the pressure will be off the San Andreas fault .. or is it a precursor to the "Big One"?

The quake analysis has been updated with NEIC data thru 02/11. Please note the projections for 5.0-5.9, 6.0-6.9 and MOST IMPORTANTLY 7.0-7.9. If
these projections hold true we're in for one hell of a year!

5.6 off Baja California!
Watch the west coast. This is either good (it's relieved some of the stress that seems to have been exhibiting itself through the high number of 3+
quakes happening in mid-California) OR, we may be about to rock and roll.

World Wide Seismic Event
Could this information be correct?
Data from station COR (Corvallis, Oregon)
last updated at
Wed 02/18/04 10:19 MST (Wed 02/18/04 17:19 GMT)
This could be a malfunction or it could be a large event?

You guys there really has been something extremely unexplainable happen today.
There was a VLP (very long period) event that took place for over an hour and registered on every recorder on this page.
aslwww.cr.usgs.gov...
But IRIS shows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that corresponds with this.

Check out "Armageddon 2012" on website www.onealclan.com
The solar system is about to enter a cosmic event that occurs only once every 26,000 years (6 a.m., EST, Dec. 21, 2012.) Addiitionally, several near
misses of asteroids and comets will occur between now and then, the first large one due in 2006.
And according to the Science Channel, Yellowstone National Park, sitting atop the world's largest volcano in history, is expected to blow anytime
beginning now. (Did anyone tell you that the last time you visited Yellowstone?) That fact is also on the website named above.

it was quite liberating
