yes it is true, tonight on itv at 7:15pm during and emerdale commercial break there will be an advert that will contain high pitched noises above the human hearing range for dogs.
story from digital spy

anyone else think this is stupid but will still be turning the telly on to observe the dog.

The mere fact, that you and everyone, will want to "test" this ad, and see if it works on their dog, proofs that the marketing guys, that created this ad, has allready succeeded in reaching their target market. A good tactic, playing on human curiousity.

Seems pretty creepy to me. Hopefully my dog doesn't get up and attack me someday while I'm watching TV - guess it's a good thing I don't watch it much these days...

I told my dog about this advert and he thought it was hilarious

I don't have a dog, so i don't have to worry about him/her trying to run up my ice-scraper/non-credit card if he/she would happen to see this commercial.

I don't have a TV either. I have had a TV for the past 6-7 years.

well i beleive that was a load of dog crap.
the advert was a dog food advert obviously and both dogs here ignored the tv.
more interested in why i was filming them.
if you had better reactions from your pets please do tell.
